Hey Liam Urwin!
I know u asked for V-9s opinion, but as is usually the case i thought id express me opinion on the matter.
The sponsers logo is a bit blurry, u should be able to find a really good vodofone logo somewhere on the net, so use that instead of this one.
I think that u shouldnt have grey in the middle of the collar, and cos it may sometimes show up in the game.
Also I think the collar should be a bit thicker, cos otherwise it would look a little funny in the game, and look like the shirt goes up the players neck..
I think u should use the crst image file! Why not! You can get a clearer badge, and it wont stretch when the players move. Its easy to do, just get a manu badge import it, then set the backgrounf colour to transparent using the pallette button in EA Graph.
The Last thing, your textures are hardly visible! Either make them more visible(i dont like NHL, and can understand why u have reduced the contrast on them, as they are very conrasted) or get some better textures to use.
I also think u'll find the triangles look a bit pointy in the game, but thats not really a problem with the way you make kits so dont worry about that:)

Cheers, I hope i odnt sound too sceptical, its a good kit! This is what i want people to do with my kits, speak from experience, and give me tips on things they think i should improve!

Thanks for the tips skip!
I use the crst file sometimes, but i dont like the crst on the socks and shorts. Also i cannot find a good vodafone logo anywhere,I had one in the wrong colours and when i put it to the right colours it looked bad! Also i seem to have trouble drawing good round neck collars.ANy tips on that? and collars in general.

But has it ever come to mind that it's a picture in JPG format...and that reduces visual quality! If this is the case the kit might be great.

i always get my logos from that place,thanks all the same,but they dont have any good vodafone logos......for my kit i just cloned the logo off a real pic of the jersey.that logo site has many club crests as well...some are the english crests from hqfl.if u go to the hqfl site ,the english clubs badges are not availible due to licenses etc.so if u need english badges go to the http://www.logo.nino.ru as well

waht about this vodafone logo?
when youre changing colours, use the Hue map, or colourizer, or RBG tool. dont try to do it manually with the floodfill or paint brush!

go colour->adjust->hue map
or colour->adjust->red/blue/green.
Now the secret is to keep the images seperate till the colour is right then combine them once you have the right colour.
get the dropper tool, and put it over the colour of your kit(the colour that you want the sponser to be) Then look at the red blue and green values of that colour(they r displayed on the far left of the screen). Now go to your logo and use Hue map to get approximate colour, and red/blue/green to get the exact colour(if u get within 1 or 2 numbers with this tool, just get the flood fill and make its tolerance one, and correct the difference it wont be noticable). TO get the exact colour with the RGB tool, simple add the percentage of each colour slowly until you get its value right, then work on the next colour. After some practice this doesnt take long. Hey the Carlsberg logo on my liverpool kit was Green when i got It!!
Meanwhile I have redone your Man Utd kit with a few modifications of what i think you should do to it...have a look, and tell me what you think..
Plz note if i made a man utd kit, i would actually not have a perfectly round white line for the collar, the bottom left of the circle needs to be kinked to look round in the game! I would also rotate the nike logo a bit, otherwise it will look funny and be bent around the collar, to make it 3d

go here for the textures. http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35121
There are no sleeves or back of the jersey from what i know. i might ask number 9 if he has them. The sleeves arent that important, i could us default EA sleeves cos they are fairly good, but the back is a bit of a problem, maybe i could use default ea for that too..

here i have made a back file for those textures based on the front one...
to anser your question i dont change opacity.
I just paste the texture as a new layer, then i make the layer blend mode multiply. Its easy, thats all u have to do...;)
hey one, more thing its just m8 not m8te. the 8 stands for ate!!
hehe. c u later, im going to bed...:)
EDIT: actually i just realised that back image should be mirrored, so mirror it if u r going to use it..
Cheers

Liam. I think that the kit looks good. I've noticed that you make the design of the kit as how it looks in the photo. I've seen other people do the same thing. I've said this before when El_Gallo made his Portugal kit. When you make a kit, you have to take into account that these jerseys were meant to be tuck in the shorts. I say that the bottom 25% of the jerseys will be tucked in. So when making jerseys for FIFA, you have to take that into account. In addition the two sides of the hjfr file wrapped around to the back in FIFA2002. I've included a screenie of my design below. The one on the left is a photo of Nike Manu jersey (which I think is ugly). I've drawn two lines, a blue and green one. These lines represent possible cut off where the shirt will be tucked in the shorts. Anything below these two lines can be discarded when design jerseys for FIFA2002. I've drawn two green vertical lines on the sides where I believe the jersey wrapped around to the back.

I used Illustrator to scale the logos I got from http://www.logo.nino.ru/. This make them more clean looking.

besides the texture, how about the kits, are they good?

p.s. i can't find any textures that i like. most of them look like a sheet of cloth. like someone took a picture of a bed and used one texture for the shorts, front, back and sleeves. i use ea's texture because it's the only one that actually looks like a real jersey. even the nhl textures look a sheet.
