I don't really like Lithuania, I'd rather go somewhere else, like France for example. And now that you started talking about travelling England isn't a place i haven't visited for a long time.
And although i might enjoy drinking a lot i wouldn't really like to go somewhere just to try different brands of beer.

I like Lithuania. Not so keen on Vilnius, but I really enjoyed Kaunus and Klapedia. Unique vibe and feel about it.

Latvia is not so good because you have to be constantly on your guard, Riga is basically a mafia town and all the bars are full of scammers, and the homeless/drunks can get violent. Estonia and Lithuania are mostly super safe but Latvia is not.

Edit: shouldn't talk about beautiful girls though, might get me feeling sad again. I met a really nice girl a couple of days ago, but for some reason she isn't answering to my messages. I just told her that i'd really like to talk to her again. If she doesn't answer then i'll stop messaging her. That was my last try, perhaps she doesn't like me that much although we had some fun time together. And sending her text messages is lame like this. Maybe she'll answer but i don't think she will. Anyway enough of this.

I had my drink spiked once in Latvia. It was GHB, which usually knocks you out when consumed with alcohol, luckily I have taken it before so developed a bit of a tolerance and recognized the effects as soon as they came on, so I was able to stagger out of the bar, I could tell people were following me waiting for me to collapse but I managed to stay on my feet long enough to get into a crowded area.
I also know people who have gone with girls to bars, ordered a bottle of wine, drink it together, girl disappears. Disappointed they call for the bill only to find the shit wine has been rung up at 500 euros. Not to worry, there are a couple of enormous bouncers right there to escort you to the nearest ATM. These are not out of the way bars either, some of them are right in the old town.

I used to spike my own drinks (rum) with GBL in a club. That night didn't end so well for me, I felt that i was too fucked up and starting going home. I think the fresh air didn't do so well for me. My home from the club was only like a 10 minute walk, but i got home like 2 hours later and it was so cold outside. April in Estonia.
Somehow managed to lose my Carlos*et and woke up like 3 or 4 kilometres away from my home, with my phone's battery dead, so i couldn't even call a cab for myself. I didn't even know where i was, but luckily got some directions from some random person and got home safely. And it was my favourite Carlos*et : (

Yeah, even though I have been guilty of it on occasions GHB/GBL should never really be mixed with alcohol. It is infact one of the number one date-rape drugs for this reason, as strong alcohol also masks that distinctive metallic taste. And the early effects prior to knocking you out are very similar to rapidly progressing drunkenness so people dont suspect anything, they just assume they are getting drunk fast.
