man take it easy on the guy


first of all when solari was given the red card it was raul who organized the whole team and was giving orders to players to where to go on the field

second thing he was running like hell through out the whole match specially when solari got kicked out, raul played in all positions he even defended some times

i think as a team captain he did the best he can do and as a player he is just amazing

Yeah, thats the captain's role to give directions to a team. That does not mean he put in an awful performance as a player. I respect the fact that he gives his soul on the pitch every time out and works very hard, but it's what u do with the ball that's important, especially for a forward.


Im sick of people trying to defend Raul because he's Madrid's son. He sucks this year. As much as I like the guy, he hasnt done anything for me to praise him.

Some people feel that he's the only player in Real thats uncriticizable, coz he went through the madrid youth system, and he holds a couple of spanish records. But matter of fact is, this year I havent seen a consistency in his performances as Ive seen a couple years past. Im a Raul fan, but I accept the fact that he hasnt been up to par. Maybe if we criticise him a bit, he'll improve... Spanish Media is always to last to criticize him, coz its like taking shots at their spanish pride, their international symbol.

As soon as he scores a goal, or does 1 good game, they're the first to praise him.
