i was just checking the 500 pages on teletext and on page 4 of united's page (513)it said..
"FERGIES TURNS TO VILLA ACE!!!
BOSS TO SPLASH VERON CASH ON STRIKER"

then i turn to 502 villa's page and it said
"STRIKER EXIT ON"

oh gosh please this would be so cool if vassel came to united..
not just for united but for england..
i so hope this happens..

but then again it was on clubcall which who knows could be complete ****e.. but for 75P a minute there must be some truth init..
has anyone actally called clubcall??

I saw that too. I agree if Vassell was to move to United it would be great. He's young,fast, a great dribbler - he would be a great signing for United. Just hope that on that ad they aint talking about Crouch or even Angel!:crazyboy: These kinda ads do tend to how should i say....:drevil:get thier sources wrong:drevil:..... occasionally but who knows...fingers crossed.

Not sure who i would prefer, Vassell or Defoe.

I like them both so i wouldnt mind seeing either of them at United.

Would prefer Kezman or Kluivert rather than Defoe. I think United were silly not to get Kluivert when he was available for a bargain price.

I'd go for Kezman first, and will consider Vassell very strongly considering the fact we cant count on the fact that Mr 4-Lan will score goals consistently.

no but if you had them at real madrid rvn + ronaldo would work seeing how as they have zidane behind them.

anywhere else and you'd need more of a forward rather than a second striker.

Y'know I almost never read those flashy things at the bottom of those pages but I happened to read that one too. I was more shocked at the tacky Boss To Splash Veron Cash On Striker headline than taking notice of them though, they are rarely accurate and they only want to get your money.

I wouldn't mind either Defoe or Vassell at United, they are pacey skillful players, especially Defoe. I think I'd rather see more of a link up forward though, in the mould of Cantona than another striker.

Your forgetting about Raul, who is better than Ronaldo, and would link up better with ruud IMO.

IMO Man U should go after Kezmen first, to try to get the Double Dutch connection which IMO would be a prolific striking partnership, if that fails, then Vassel... but I can't really see Defoe as an option...

Kezman is from Yugoslavia/Serbia & Montanegro, lol, not NL.

Wait a year and get Van der Vaart on a free, that would be shrewd.

Make the dutch press recognise that the club is interested in him, that would play tricks on his mind and make him want to leave Ajax when his contract is up, if he reads them.

but i would prefer vassel..
i mean he is an england player aswell.. and how sweet would it be if an united player scores the winning goal which wins the european championships or even the world cup..
not sure about defoe he still young..
maybe i like vassel way to much.. but i would choose him out of all the english forwards.
come on please god let this rumor be true...
