I love the PES series and have always frowned on Fifa's arcade style.....but this years pes6 has taking a step backwards and online is a total mess, can't get on/games disconnecting/wrong scores being done after matches etc
Heard this years Fifa is catching up with PES but I need to know what's the online side like?

d/l demo 1st b4 I decide to switch but need to know how good/bad it is online...also have they got rid of the pre determind sweet spots for goals which were cpu controlled etc?

I am a PES fanboy, but PES has taken a step back, and Fifa 3 steps forward..

There are no sweetspots,.. the gameplay is great,.. the crowd, sound, graphics, stadiums, competitions, Champions League... everything...

I'm really doubting to play Fifa or PES this year... Perhaps I'll just play both.. But I'm very very disappointed in Konami.

Playing against the computer in Fifa is absolutely WORTHLESS, BORING AND SCRIPTED!!! Same goals and no fun at all... you can just win against brazil using a 2nd division team, world class, and after a week of playing.

HOWEVER, online experience in Fifa is like playing another game...go try it out... challenge yourself to make the same goal twice to see how many matches it will take you. Also.. it doesn't have any bugs like not recording the actual final score... or not giving the points to the actual player. However.. there is still some disconnections from the EA server that will make you bad.. but that doesn't happen too often.

Actually ... in my opinnion.. this is a game to play ONLINE ONLY. Playing the manager mode and all those worthless tournaments will bore your mind out in a month tops!!!

Tried the Fifa demo and it's total pile of piss lol, aahh well bac to my labour of love that is pes

I disagree though and am enjoying this game more than any other I have played and that is on WC against the computer. I was playing the warez but my copy has arrived today (all the way from Thailand £15) and I will be online later when I get home.
