Well I went with a school trip, first we went to Hanoi. The french architecture is really nice, but the city is a bit polluted, I was quite surprised though cuz other then the french buildings it was pretty much identical to Chinese cities lol even the sidewalk tiles. Next we went to Sapa, which was pretty small but had great scenary, the air was really nice there too and the locals were very affectionate and stuff. There we brough supplies etc. to the minority villages. Pretty sad, when we started taking out the pencils and stuff, all these kids swarmed from the villages but we didnt have enough supplies to give out since most of it was spose to be for the schools there (which also lack teachers since all teachers that go there are volunteers and Vietnam is already so poor so volunteers aren't very comman). We stayed there for a few days and for the last day we went to Da'nang to relax in a holiday resort. Vietnam is great.

Thanks,
well 3rd photo I took while riding on a bike in this bike tour thingy with the sun coming down.

The 4th photo was when we were touring a minority village and I went into one of their houses. The conditions were really bad, they pretty much slept in dirt, their clothes got cleaned once a year and there really wasn't anywhere for washing themselves etc. There ofcourse wasn't any lights inside either, I only saw one house with a light bulb. But then I looked up sounds corny and all but the window was there with light coming in, and well I guess there is still light at the end of the tunnel if people continue to come help those in need of aid.

Well, I guess a picture paints a 1000 words or however the saying goes...

Nope that aint some storage shed, yep people sleep there :(

Those photo's really open you're eyes to the reality of the world.
My brother is in Asia at the moment going through Thailand, Malaysia etc. Damn I really want to go there. I'm really interested in their culture. :)

Right after I posted this I noticed your sig changed Luis, That looks really cool. I'm guessing you made it look like a photo frame you would put outside a memorial with the flowers and scarf draped over it. Very humbling. :)
