ok i just had this virus in my comp and i think i should let all of u know about this since there are so many viruses/worms everywhere these days. Well theres this worm bug called W32.Gaobot.AQS.W32.Gaobot.AQS is a worm that spreads through open network shares and several Windows vulnerabilities including:
The DCOM RPC Vulnerability (described in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-026) using TCP port 135.
The WebDav Vulnerability (described in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-007) using TCP port 80.
Exploits the Microsoft Windows Local Security Authority Service Remote Buffer Overflow (described in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-011).
It can also act as a backdoor server program and attack other systems. It attempts to stop the processes of many antivirus and security programs
.The system affected are Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP. The rest might be affected but the worm will just stay there.This worm will try to steal your games CD-KEYS and collect all the data needed and soon it will shut down your games.Some of the games included are CNC Generals & Zero Hour. I will give you the list which is located at the bottom. Some of the symptoms is your computer will keep on restarting for no obvious reason for a number of times.And when playing online the game will lag even though you got the best connection. I will update you guys on anymore info about the attacks as soon as i discover one.In the mean time if you think your computer is affected please go to this website to do a scan because if you got an anti virus scan program in your PC, the virus won't be detected.I will provide you people with all the links at the bottom.

The removal tool will remove not all but most of the Gaobot worm.There are many different kinds of Gaobot worms out there.That's all.Just remember to scan your PC's to make sure.
