Is the no numbers and no names problem for the voodoo 5 5500 only with XP or also with 98 ????????

I have a VD5, and Xp,a nd im afraid i get no names or numbers either :(

I used to in the demo, but everything was rainbow, now everything is fixed, but no names or numbers :(
