Vuvuzelas are not only annoying but bored as hell. Anything but bee buzzing in the match.
After Tsabalala scored the goal, sound is getting louder. oh,

Those things are absolutely annoying, i could barely hear the commentator. But more disturbing than the noise is the monotone sound. I hate them. After the WC millions of them stupid plastic horns will land on the garbage. Mother nature will be happy.

I like the sound. Especially when it got louder. Of course it only makes sense when South Africa plays. To me, it's no different than the loud whistling that goes on in Europe - it intensifies the atmosphere, and that's a plus.

I dont know, which european stadiums you are talking about, but i dont recall any crowd whistling for 90 minutes in one tone.
No noticable chantings, no applause, no aaawwwwws and ooooooohhhhhhs......just pwooooooooooooooooooooooot.......................Not good for me, im sorry.

The Vuvuzelas are irritating, tune in to the tennis at Queens and it feels like i'm in some zen place.

I don't like them but they shouldn't be banned and they should be respected since it's a people's culture we're talking about. Why do they have to be so loud though, isn't there any way to design them so that they make a bit less noise?

....vuvuzelas....... but they won't ruin my WC experience.....

They will ruin mine. The crowd has been almost completely taken out of the game by being drowned out by the vuvuzela.

It sounds like there's a massive swarm of giant bees all over the stadium which are/will be buzzing for the duration of ALL games......not just the ones involving South Africa!

Fifa should step up and ban them completely from games which do not involve South Africa.

When South Africa scored, I didn't feel any change in the atmosphere whatsoever, just a constant drone. If I only listened to the crowd without hearing commentary or looking at the TV, I wouldn't have guessed a goal have been scored. Totally overshadowed the usual football atmosphere. No cheering, booing, whistling or chanting.
