It really pisses me off when u'v worked ur ass off to score a goal and the cpu, who's only previous interest in the match was to pass the ball at a supernatural rate between defenders in their 1/2, suddenly bursts into life...forces a corner...then scores with that 19 times out of 20unstoppable near post header....

It makes a grown man want to weep

When I play, the computer normally dominates possession, but still lose. But, they don't score fr midfield so much. Guess, midfield shooting is for desparation

Out of every 10 goals the cpu scored against me 8 of them is from midfield! how do you mark the strikers properly? most of the time the goal results from a one touch shot & i can't even get my defenders near him before he shoots. may i know how?
& bud_green, would you teach me how to make those long range shots? i tried but only can blast it over the bar....

Well, I don't understand your problem, because everytime I use "S" to head the ball I win ( at least 80% of times ).

I find it, when you play World class mode for a certin amount of time, you just start winning and stuff. Its really funny sometimes, you play world class and you win it, then you go play Easy level and you cannot win because your playing different styles. hehe!

I played a season on world class with man utd... I won the league on with 1 point difference with leeds utd.. Lost both finals... In the EC against Deportivo on penalties and in the FA cup against Arsnenal 1-0... Ghehehhee... But now I play a new season with Borussia Dortmund and in the league Im 15 points ahead of Bayern after 23 games.... Hmmmm

i use to have the problem of the computer scoring ridiculous goals -
i solved it by playing 5-3-2
5 at the back with a sweeper
that usually stops the computer imo

also, i strongly suggest "cpukeepaway" should be turned OFF in soccer.ini
other wise the possession will be 70% computer

i concede 90% of my goals thru corners , altho i hardly ever lose on world class, i make greate comebacks like 4-1 down to Inter to 4-4.

and no, i didnt make any transfer...exept for myself playing, but i wasnt so good, i try to keep it real.... yea i kick the cpu butt, but when i play humans is really hard for me, becouse i was really used to the cpu kind of game....believe it or not!

NOWAY !!i play with all formations but noway i can't win any tournament in world class,i began playin in pro mode but it's pretty easy,world class is 2 hard & pro so easy !!
pro 2002 = worldclass 2001
i think they make new level cuz world class in fifa2001 is much easier than in 2002

One way to cut down on long shots that score, is to apply the most defensive pressure to the players in the middle of the field. Don't challenge nearly as much on the wings. But chase them down like filthy dogs if the ball comes into the middle.

Force them wide.
