Wallpaper on Photoshop?

I have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 , and i want to learn how to make a wallpaper, i tried everything but i cant manage to make one, so if anybody can tell me how to make one i would be very happy!

well if u wanna make a soccer/football one just start off with a couple pictures and edite them, with special effects, dont start with wallpapers tho , first experiment

just play around with the tools and the effects, and you'll begin to get the hang of it.

I personally wouldn't start with wallpapers, start with something smaller and work up.
