want to know editors for config.dat and .db files

i've been a programmer for two years (though now i mostly do project management) so i think i'll be able to do my own mods exactly as i want them... but i haven't found any editors for fifa.db and config.dat files....

can someone tell me of these file editors.. the only 1 i know of is the packer for the big files

1. rename config.dat to config.big and use BigGUI
2. Use UniDB to convert db-files into ms-access-databases (and back to db after editing)
