I don't have the cash right now to renew my Norton AV , so I went to there site and ran a free scan and this is what came back...


C:\Program Files\KONAMI\PES5 DEMO(no voice)\Pro Evo 5 Menu Unlocker.exe is infected with Trojan Horse

As I said, Ive not updated my Norton AV so it was not up to date, so I ran a Free Scan (detect only) and it came back saying there was a Trojan..

I am only passing on what came back with the scan...

I can assure you that the file is 100% safe. For some reason or other it is seen as harmful to certain virus detectors. My virus checker - NOD32 - get's updated throughout the day, and after scanning the file, finds 0 threat.

I don't know why it's causing these problems :(

These unlocker changes (probably, I'm not sure because i don't use this unlocer) values in pes5.exe so as it can be detected as virus/trojan. The same thing like with some trainers, keygens etc.
If you don't trust unlocker just unlock options yourself by hexedit like maciek said in some thread.

Well as I said I ran a scan from the Norton AV website and got that result ..

Im not to savvy on these things , if I delete the file will that take the Trojan out! or once a virus or trojan gets in from the file or files it came in on , will getting rid of the file(s) will that take the virus or trojan out?????

My trainer works by altering values in certain memory addresses when the program is running. To a virus detector that would cause alarm, so it makes sense as to why they are detecting it. There's nothing to worry about though!

I disabled my norton because i was also getting the trojan, i downloaded a free version of avg and when i scanned the unlocker file it came up ok.
Now i am playing pes 5 about 10mins a match.
