When i read the FIFA 2004 forums i find it very hard to find some good comments .. dont get me wrong there are but very rare .. The forum is filled with pissed of people .. not just a few pissed people but a hell of a lot of people are pissed ..

It amazes me to see how many people hate EA ...

were the previous versions of FIFA badly critisised like this one ??

if yes which were the most ?? as far as i can remember i think FIFA 2000 was the most shocking ..

I take it you ain't played fifa 2003 then. :D

I think that is the most critisced one myself, by January most people had forgotten about the game and were waiting anxiously for this years release which has improved for EA's standards, but it's still a rather naff game though.

Joe I really like Fifa2004 but I guess people rightly have high expectations of a game which has been developed over so many years - you would think by this stage it would be fine tuning rather than a big overhaul from year to year

by this stage they expect it to be near perfection and certainly expect features such as variable weather and a user friendly menu to be well and truly a fixture of the game

Fifa is great but there is no excuse for some of the mistakes EA has made, it is just sloppy and looks like it was rushed to the stores before being bug tested

seems EA like to release unfinished game. they should ready for criticism. but i think this year is a bit bad. they giving lot of promises but at the end, just disappointed everyone. the most shocking feature miss and error in FIFA 2004 for me are
-interface (such poor interface.....)
-save replay option
-lot more bugs

what can we do is help EA "finish" their unfinished game by patch or other utilities. or, wait for FIFA 2005. mostly is another disappointment

Despite of all bugs FIFA 2004 is still the one and only football game for me , it's great fun to play it but unfortunately i cannot get rid of feeling that it's unfinished :( it's annoying but what can I say I tried PES3 but on my PC (1300 MHZ GF4 384 RAM) it's almost like slide show ..and its horrible interface :( so no competition for EA means no choise for us
