My belief is that he puts it on the shirt for good reason. If he needs a dose of vapo-rub then all he's got to do is pull his shirt up over his face. A bit easier than trying to sniff his own chest I would think.

Nah it's defnatley Vicks & it's on his shirt rather than his chest so that he can lift it up close to his face if he wants to get a real sniff of it....
