I'm not talking about this season or any season he has played. He has done well with the Galacticos but he wasnt the best this season at all. I'm talking about him as a player overall and his outbursts and idiotic remarks after games. It's upsetting to always see this guy sent off for stupid unheard-of challenges and see him crying on the sidelines cuz he realized what hes done. Do I need some backup from some other Madrid fans that think the same or what cuz this seems like ur pointing at me being the Real fan and bombarding me with these comments about Madrid. :kader:

I will say, I have seen Ronaldo put in some fantastic crosses. He just doesn't have the mentallity to do it consistantly. He is definatly one of those players who seems more interested in whats happening in regards to his fame.

I will say that he is a great player but not suited for us or the Spanish league. Would better for him to go back to England. With him its just crosses, lots and lots of crosses and considering that we have Ronaldo/Raul to be the ones to deal with those crosses that does not help either. I would perfer someone faster, younger, better at dribbling while being able to cross at the same time.

I do think Beckham isn't suited to Real's game. Thats why I wasn't sure about all the rumours of him going to Arsenal. Hes not quick enough for Arsenal's game.

Have him play with someone like Ruud van Nistelrooy though and its like a perfect match.

I agree man. On Real Madrid we also have another player Thomas Gravesen who is not suited for the Spanish League although his work sumtimes can be commended. He should go back to Everton, his past-team and work up from there. Same with Beckham, I think an EPL team in the balance of Relegation would bring him back into good form, although he already is doing well. A team like Newclastle United would be good for Beckham, considering another English counterpart, Michael Owen is on the team. :rockman:

What does Ronaldo have to do with this discussion? Mentioning Ronaldo because a Canadian Real Madrid fan said that Beckham is crap. Nice logic. You comparing a player who is just starting his career with someone who is 30 years of age. Where was Beckham in the 18-21 age gape? At Preston North End. With 20 years of age Ronaldo was already playing in Manchester United and being one of the best players of a Portuguese Nt who reached the finals of an important international competition. Compare him with Beckham now. Completely ridiculous. Let´s compare it when Ronaldo is 30 too. Btw don´t give me the crap about being the best player in Real, 90% of the team besides Casillas and Ramos has been mediocre. What has Real won since Beckham joined? Absolutely nothing. I rest my case.

Well said. And it was Ebonix who mentioned Ronaldo so I had to say sumthing about that. I still think hes a class player and all but he's been portrayed way too much as a "cry-baby" and a whiner, which a lot of ppl change into him just not being able to play football without doing cross-overs and losing the ball. Its complete bull****. Real Madrid only got him to complete the Galacticos lineup and I'm not saying he didn't, but a lot of the things that he did makes me wonder..CAM ON mate..C. Ronaldo is classy tho I just gotta admit

Vinnie, Real Madrids downfall is the result of many things.David Beckham is not one of the reasons. The struggles internally at boardroom level and their insistance in persevering with mediocre Spanish managers, promoted from within is the real cause. It is the players who have suffered from this lack of direction and leadership. The big wigs at Madrid have ruined things for the players and the fans, but only a dumbass like soggy8 would blame it all on Beckham.

I agree that Beckham should never have joined Real madrid. His talents have been wasted having to try to inject some fire into a dull, aging and disinterested bunch of prima donnas. Spain has done him no favours. He has wasted 3 years of his life with that deadbeat club. Luckily for most Real madrid fans, he loves being there and wants to stay. Although i cannot work out why. I guess its because "real" Real madrid fans appreciate him, unlike a certain dork in Canada who never actually gets to a game, and wishes that he could be David Beckham.

By the way , i think there should be a minimum age limit for users on these forums. I'm fed up with 12 year olds like Soggy8 getting in here and letting rip with their pre- pubescent rages.

Well said well said. I didn't read anything in the beginning cuz I just don't care what u have to say but the 12 yr old part just stood out. First of all, I'm 17 buddy and no1 said that Beckham ruined it for the team. I think that him as well as some other idiots, i.e. Gravesen, have changed the perception of what the fans and coaches think of Real Madrid. Oh and I never wished I was David Beckham as a footballer. I already told u, I'd only want to be him in his sex life with his wife Victoria.

Oh and when ur talking try to use some appropriate language cuz u really sound like the idiotic 12 yr old in here. Thanks.

Fair enough Pede. Btw i never said that Beckham was crap, who can deny his merits and his career as a Manchester United player? I only responded cause i get fed up when ppl mention Ronaldo. I find the comparison totally unfair. If we compare them in the same circunstancies we will get a more reasonable result.

Very true. Well said Vince. I think if C. Ronaldo was in the position Beckham is in on Real Madrid, he'd have the same problems with the fans and the critics getting ideas out of nothing. I think they're both great players, but its ppl like Pede who just spit acid into the fire when they use unnecessary, childish terms so that they get the satisfaction of thinking they won an argument. When clearly, That isn't true.

To blame the players for the recent failures of Real Madrid show exactly how little you know about the club you insist that you support. If i do use chidish terms, please realise its for your benefit, because i dont think you would understand yet, a more adult dialogue.
