I just got FIFA 2003 yesterday, why didnt EA put him in? :f***:

Because when EA made the game Wayne Rooney wasn't playing, i dont think he was playing when the demo was out.

Yep, marcus is right, when EA started to make fifa 2003 nobody had ever heard of some guy named wayne rooney....

If they'd have done their homework they'd have known all about him
There was a lot of hype about him at the end of last season
He played in the FA Youth Cup and was on the bench for the last few games of the season

He was a big name before he ever kicked a ball in the Premiership

Sometimes EA gets these things right and sometimes they don't

This is how I solved the problem:

There's some guy in the MLS whose last name is Rooney. Using Access, edit his name, appearance and stats, and move him to Everton.
He's called Rooney in the commentary, so I guess it is just as good.
