Well, I see the point, but I never really understood the reason to force people to exit the game, change folders, open the game again just if you want to switch e.g. from WC 1998 to WC 2002.
I still think the more teams we can fit, the better.
And when we reach the limit and need space, then we can start removing the oldest teams from that DB

But I see that a "clean" 2020s DB might also be useful.

Regarding Copa America, I've considered this possibility, especially given that valambrosio and ovide have done them for post 10s addon before, it would make sense to port them over.

On the other hand, @valambrosio2 also mentioned that he would be transfering Euro 2020 and WC 2022 to his project, so idk if we do double work there.

Also as far as I know there are still a few stadiums missing from the latest iterations?

To be honest I am clueless about South American football, and would definitely need help, including with graphics, if any are missing.
Same goes for Copa Libertadores (finalists) - sounds fun but I have zero content or knoknowledge.
I can't help you with assets since I don't know how to edit, but being south-american (im argentinian), I can help with information.
At the moment of this message, although it is for FIFA 23, a group of Ecuadorian editors are releasing a patch for Latin American football. (This is the link for their social media https://biolink.website/EcuadorModders)
Besides that, although my eyes opened with joy when I read one year south American teams, I would understand the 5 year team approach. Right know, our continent is dominated by Brazilian clubs since they are the only ones that can afford quality players. After that, you have a lot of argentinian clubs, and then rarely you have teams from other countries that can make a difference.

Besides that, I get the WC problem (for example), that the decades system gets, the only way to solve it properly would be with its own DB, but GIGGI doesn't want to do it yet for obvious reasons (not make most of the work done in the specific decades obsolete for most of the consumers of the patch).

Do you mean that in the event Jbou let's say adds a bunch of 2010s teams to his addon, and we also release updates for 2020s, it will be more difficult to merge the two DBs by adding 2020s "leagues" on top of new Jbou 2010s?
And the easier way would be to merge full clean 2020s stuff on top of new Jbou 2010s?

Again, not against either approach, just trying to understand how current 2010s teams in this DB are problematic.
Yes, if you use Jbou selector, then it is tough as same teams and leagues are present both in 2020 as well as 2010.

I tried some matches with the update, here are some things:
1- the content is amazing: incredible stadiums and amazing idea to include the opening music.
2- it constantly crashes on kit selection: you have to be very fast to react to avoid having to close the game.
3-Even with the fscepack, there are still some headless players: ex. A player from Australia, and "blue/green faces" (ex. Saudi Arabia).
Besides that, I believe this is a great release, and looking forward for the fixes.

Also, as an advice for future facepacks: take into account the players already present in the CP that may have an outdated/generic face:
Ex. Lautaro Martinez (was already present in the CP thanks to inter, with a generic)
Rodrigo de Paul (was already present in the CP thanks to Udinese, its face represents his younger version without a beard)

One question: it is possible that the wc kitpack is missing some kits? Ex. A poland alternative (white shirt - red short - white socks).

I have already tried disabling all kitoverlay folder and still get random crashes. Even in default CP14 where there's no kitoverlays at all.

Also I've never seen scouser say that.

But if this solution works for you I'm happy.

If you want to still keep them like other wc had, I believe they should be implemented in the kits themselves (for example, check how argelia 2010 does it).
Besides that, I wonder: why does Euro only use 2 files for overlays, but wc22 has like 50 of them?

Also, now that I can use the kit Selection, I'm checking the kits with historicalkitsUK. Here are some omissions that need to be created for full perfection:
1-Poland alternative (white shirt - red shorts - white socks): used in third match against Argentina and in the round of 16 against france. Just use the away short.
Now that I'm checking, even in the index (the supposed "official combinations") it says that the home kit of Poland is white - red - white, and the away is red - white - red, so you just need to swap the shorts.
2- Costa Rica: two alternative (for some reason, they didn't respect their original team compositions one bit): a- all white (shirt, shorts and socks) used against Spain (luckily the home kit has white socks). B- the home kit (red shirt blue shorts) but with Red socks (used in the last match against Germany, sadly they are not present in any other kit composition).
3-qatar (the away should be a little more yellow, but that's more of a correction than a new composition).
But even so, amazing work! Thanks a lot for bringing this amazing tournament from the bottom of my heart.

I think I found the actual reason for the crashes - it's the updated RevMod (lua assets).

For anyone havinf kit selection bug, try disabling/renaming the new "assets" file in data/fifarna/lua.

mmmm dont set the kitoverlays kitoverlay_125466_0_0_1 this way it will crash because the tournament id is 0
use the kitoverlays just for tournaments no for friendlies, if you want to see the sleevve badges in friendlyy you will have to add them in the kit textures

Also you just did well with kitoverlays so you definitely are capable of editing ;)
Next if you want you can assign individual GK kit colors for your favorite team (Argenina) for example and share with everybody your addition.
Example for Mexico team in lua files:
assignGameKit(125473,125466,125473,2,12) --Red GK vs Argentina home
assignGameKit(125466,125473,125473,2,12) --Red GK vs Argentina away

Could you specify which players exactly?

Ex. Lautaro Martinez (was already present in the CP thanks to inter, with a generic)
EA faces can always be added by installing the F23/22 conversions by Dmitri/HBZ.
I believe faces are a personal choice for any user themselve.

Boot to year, face to year, tattoo to year, glove to year, random specific boot, referee board, specificball for team vs team, specificadboard for team vs team _ stadium - a lot of nice features.

I am now trying to find a version which doesn't crash.
For the time being just disable the assets folder and test, please.
