Haha Vince nice post. To tell you the truth i´m completely indiferent to this match. I don´t think i´m even going to watch it since i´m prolly extremely busy next saturday. Don´t really care about the result but i´ll be obviously pleased if we win.

Should be a far more open game than the final, especially considering we're missing our two best defenders.

In the Olympics there's a Bronze medal that they need to give out, but in the World Cup there's no point. I agree, they're just selling TV rights and tickets.

This game shouldn't even exist. Does anyone still remember who got 3rd place 4 years ago? Yeah, Turkey. But what about in France 98? Anyone? Yeah, you got the point.

It'll be 2 devastated sides who rather be: a) playing sunday's game b) on holidays, making one final effort for a chance of winning nothing.
Germany should take this one, since being the home team will give them that little extra motivation over us.
Personally, if we win it's good; if we lose our 66' generation will still be heralded as our best ever - which is true - and that is good too.

I can still remember third-placed teams very good. Italy, Sweden, Bulgaria, Croatia, Turkey.... But no one remembers fourt-places teams.
