It seems you do. Why is that? You're still latinos, though. Argentineans here are mostly racist against Brazil and the others L.A countries they're also arrogant and they seem to think they're actually white people... You're not like that, apparently. Congrats for not being a racist c'nt!

please stop. you are making yourself look more and more like the idiot you are.

You're an idiot :boohoo: I know we are all Latin Americans, and that we are racist is a big generalization on your part. While we hate each other in football terms (Argentina and Brasil) I don't have anything against them in any other respects. Hell, how many Argentineans go every year to Sao Paulo, Florianopolis, Ferrugem (I can't remember if that is how you spell it), etc... on vacations?? I go to Brasil every once in a while when I am travelling in S. America. Don't generalize!! What is true is that we (in Argentina) are mostly of white descendants: Italians, Germans, Spanish, French, and other parts as well. Wether you like it or not. I am just pointing out the facts, we are not all "brown" as you make us all out to be. Like I said again, I wouldn't even mind being of a "brown" skin color and have nothing against those who are, but I don't like the idea that everything is generalized into one large blob.

Commentary of the Brazil/Ghana game included the following:

Marcelo Balboa: “Ghana was the better team today” while Brazil was dominating the match up two to nil.

Marcelo Balboa: “It was a good play” speaking about the Ghanaian player who mistakenly shot on his own goal.

Marcelo Balboa: “You have to give a lot of respect to Ghana” after Brazil scored their third goal by beating the offside trap and then embarrassing the keeper by chipping the ball over him, running past him, and tapping the ball in the goal softly.

Marcelo Balboa: “You’ve got to give all the respect in the World to Ghana” and “I am not impressed at all with Brazil” after the game ended with Brazil winning three to nil.

Neither Balboa nor O’Brien mentioned in the second half that Ronaldo earned his place as the World Cup's greatest ever goal scorer, breaking Gerd Mueller's record 14 goals.
I felt that Balboa’s commentary was absolutely absurd. I also feel that, while not as disturbing as Marcelo Balboa, most American ESPN commentators are generally inept.

2 of them in 34 and 38... you're pathetic! Even Uruguay got 2 World Cups... by that time, I could win a World Cup, playing all by myself.

So? Holland already existed by that time didnt it? Its a shame for Holland you werent born in those times then.

It's interesting that Ghana, Ivory Coast and Togo all border each other. Maybe if they combined their teams together and got some decent coaching they'd be a menacing football force.

You seem very pissy when I mention "well tanned argentineans". Why? Any problems being brown at all? I wish I'd well tanned myself, so I could kick a ball around better and make lots of money. And, you're an idiot.

Noob. You actually needed to edit your post to just say that.

Anyway, don't think I'm arrogant, I'm just acting like I got 9,000 of posts on SG and like I'm 17 yo and plus, I had nothing better to do than trying to make people look stupid here and trying to look more arrogant.

that i would never question your love for brasil (the nation it self and its people) and im sorry if you took it that way.my post above was in jest about your feelings about the SELECAO of brasil from what i have read from previous posts including your I BELIVE IN UNICORN type of thearies on the social political impact of the SELECAO of brasil. maybe you dont know what its like to be an immigrant,if you dont i wont expect you to understand how its possible to love both nations the US and brasil. and from the brief time i joined this forum i thought better of you than to attack and belittle my choice in occupation and suggest my love for brasil(the nation) where i was born is disingenuous.i do know quite well you dont hate the nation of brasil but you havent said anything to suggest the same for the selecao of brasil.

You're changing the words!! You never said "Well-tanned", you said "brown-ass" in an almost despective manner as if we were all of brown skin color. I've already explained that not everyone in S. America is of brown skin, and by you making that comment shows that you know nothing about us...

What do you expect me to understand when you say something like "you just hate Brazil"?

The national team is NOT the country, and when I read Brazil I understand the country. If that's not what you meant, and it's clear now, then I take back what I wrote.

I have no idea why you moved to the USA, and I frankly don't care. I thought you wrote that I dislike my country, and I pointed to the fact that you moved away. How that is attacking/belittling is beyond me, but if that somehow offended you, I apologize.

Also, I suggest you stop taking the smartarse/patronizing way when discussing stuff in this forum. Not that it affects me, it's just a piece of advice. Learning who the big guys you don't want to mess with are would also help.

I wasn't defending anyone. You questioned someone's credibility when you have none. I could have written "Oh, the irony", but the message is the same.

Oh, I must be a sad bastard with no life, and no brains. I wait until you log off (I can only imagine myself, "oh, when's that tough guy logging off so I can start writing".), then post a reply you'd read anyway, whether I posted before or after you logged off.

ok, this stops now. The only point left would be #2, and I guess Rusi can take care of his business quite well, so I don't need to defend him, neither did I want to. I was pointing the irony on your comment, nothing else.

Brazil beat Ghana 3-0 and are through to the quarters. Good luck to them, and please let this thread rest in peace.
