But dude, stop putting all the blame on him! I haven't seen one single person insulting Ferreira, and he did way worse than Ricardo on that 1st goal...

And about Pauleta... Postiga can't do bettter, it's quite obvious...

I'd say HUGO ALMEIDA TO AA!!!! His a big guy, with great heading, shooting and plays great with his back on goal! He's perfect for these matches...

Scolari... wtf were those subs all about?

But Ferreira has played good games for us and there's no one else better than him except Miguel who's injured.

But I haven't seen Ricardo make a good exhibition for the National team since he joined Sporting 2 years ago. It's just too many blunders and he should be replaced. Enough opportunities have been given to him.

Almeida isn't even good enough for the U23 team...

No true! Eder was known by us boavista fans as "Buraco Eder", coz he'd constantly miss headers. Ricardo not only saved certain goals, he also saved penalties (one of Larsson, best european scorer at the time), did well on every cross and even scored a penalty against Malaga. That Celtic goal was no stinker! Larsson strikes the ball right in front of him, he cannot preddict that the shot his coming wrongly curled, so it was more a fluke by Henrik

About those "drop Ricardo" comments I'll be honest... He's not doing any good to our NT... but c'mon!! Baia!? For someone who was voted UCL gk of the year, he did at least 3 hilarious blunders last season for porto in Superliga, which costed 4 points (E.Amadora, Gil Vicente... and a butter-hands stunt agains Alverca).... This year against Valencia and Leiria he let in stupid goals, that could have been prevented...

I'd go for Moreira right now

About the "left back problem".... Carlos Fernandes is doing quite well for Boavista, anyone seen him play yet?

The real problem is that we miss Figo´s leading voice in our Nt. Everyone respected him and was extremely professional in their approach to the game when Figo was there. I think that we miss a leading figure currently, someone to help control the ansiety, someone to lead the players on the pitch and who everyone respects. Yesterday besides the lack of professionalism and effort, we didn´t play as a team. Our defence was a nightmare yesterday.

I just wish that players like Tiago and P. Ferreira are confronted by Madail or whoever. If they don't want to come and play then don't.

as for Ricardo the best option would be suicide.

There are no "small" teams anymore (well maybe except Scotland ;) ). Every team can give the top teams a hard fight, especially on homeground.

That makes it more interesting. :)
