Gooch's performance tonight was a massive improvement when compared to the first meeting. To me, how he completely took Borgetti out of the game, earned him my man of the match award.

A great performance by the true Kings of CONCACAF. It was an absolutely exhiliarating victory after all the arrogance coming from the Mexicant's prior to the game. Like Borgetti saying that winning was not enough for them, they wanted to "win with style". I wonder if they like losing with style?

Keller: 8 (wasn't called upon often, but made one crucial save)

Lewis: 8 (pretty solid at left back)
Berhalter: 8 (not flawless, but played very well)

Great game. Where does the U.S. play a game when they want a great, pro-American atmosphere? That's right, bitches. Ohio. Columbus to be specific.

I will again reiterate how much I love the way Frankie Hejduk plays. He doesn't take shít from anybody. Not Adu, not the Mexican'ts, not from anybody. You the man, Frankie.

I was really suprised that Mastroeni didn't start, but I guess it had something to do with fitness. I liked what I saw from Quaranta while he was out there. Ralston scored, but as Balboa said, he wasn't dangerous enough on the flank. I think EJ and McBride will be the forward tandem in the future, with Reyna or Donovan on the right flank.

I don't feel like rambling anymore. I'll post more random analysis later. But only if I feel like it.

Oh, yeah. Remind me to kick that Mexican't who fouled DMB in the knee. I'm gonna kick him in the knee, too, only twice as hard. I don't mind the foul to stop the flow of play, hell I was a defender, I did it enough myself. But don't just take a swing at an injury-prone body part, like the knee.
