imagine you can create with an editor, basically all leagues of any World Championship, with promotions, relegation, play-off/out formulas.
Tons of new leagues, Cups and international Tournaments like World Cup and Ch.League.

Would be interesting if someone with good programming/reverse engineering skills
could find a way to make this kind of editing possible, because this is a big lack in PES series.

I agree. Something like CEP for PES would be great..The game has taken huge steps on the graphical area thanks to Juce and all the editors but the database/OptionFile has been forgotten. There's League patches for almost every interesting country, we can make faces/stadiums/etc to all of them but we are always limited by the OF. Besides that, it's impossible to recreate real competitions (and that's even more annoying...like playing the CL without the home & away).

Since it seems that it's very difficult to edit the game itself on this area, it would be better if someone (with enough knowledge) could create a mod outside the game that would launch the PES for playing matches (like friendlies). It's possible to retrieve information from PES (like results, goalscorers, cards..PES launcher for internet play does that), so we could at least have real competitions (right number of teams, real UEFA competitions format, others like Royal League, lower divisions...) and a table with goalscorers and stuff like that.
This would be a good step (including the option to create competitions to play with friends..just like sensible soccer)...maybe in the future could be even more creative steps like the ability to get offered jobs at other teams..(like the mod having a formula according to your wins/team...sensible soccer had it and was made many years ago...). That would expand the game experience for many time... but I'm affraid no one is taking time on this area of the game.. I can't complain, I can only be thankful for all the editors have given us so far. And that's much compared with the default version.

But, if someone could try...it would be GREAT.

(I remember that someone released a mod for GP4, outside the game itself..and it was very good)

Honestly - I think a patch like this would be WAY better than a bootserver. Obviously, if we can have both, that's great! But if one has to take precedence or priority, it should be the team/league/player server. I don't even care that much about ballserver. It's nice to have, but it doesn't really make that much difference to the game, like kits, stadiums and team/league/players would. Just think how different (and better!) PES would be with something like this - play as any team in the world! :Carlos*o: :bouncy: :shades:

Well, nobody wants anything or force someone to work on it.

This thread is just a seggestion of what could be made by someone with very good reverse engineering skills. It doesn't seem to me so bad if someone could really be able to try to do a thing like this. :ewan:

Exactly. It's not unreasonable to make a general request to the community for a feature that everyone would appreciate very much. We're not trying to hassle Juce (who is a legend :jap: ), just see if anyone (Juce included, but not just him) wants to volounteer for this.

Sometimes I think some members of this board just don't want to see any more progress in the PES modding scene.

It was posted at evo-web. But suddenly he stopped posting. Maybe he hasn't time to continue doing it, but the idea is great. If you look at the forum you'll see that he already could retrieve in/out data from PES..
