That's because you can guarantee them a first team spot. The Altintop twins or Nuri Sahin wouldn't even make the German B team.

And uh, Serdar Taşçı, the biggest prospect of Turkish background, chose to play for Germany, despite his whole family being blackmailed by the Turkish FA.

i think you are just mad that podolski and klose decided to play for germany and not for poland (thats ofcourse if you are really polish)

I was disappointed because they chose to play for the German NT over our NT to be honest. But what does this have to do with my previous post?

¿Cuál es el problema con la puntuación española?

At least you put Turkish in its place (H)

It's pretty sad that you need a punctuation mark to denote irony. Are people really that thick?

And go easy on the Turks.. they have a great history of tolerance

People on the internet certainly seem to have a problem detecting sarcasm, so I can see where they're coming from.

This is still idiotic, though. What's next, a special question mark for rhetorical questions?

"Does Rose Kennedy own a black dress

Are all Turks violently angry idiots

And really... those who do are never going to get it anyway.

heh, at least in Canada people won't make fun of you shouting around "Mehmet, Mehmet" as they probably would in Portugal, and surely would in Brazil...

The inverted question mark is great. You can start sentences with the proper pronunciation. ;)
