WE8: J League - October 28th

Thanks to ThomasGoal & KAiWAi @ evo-web, Konami are releasing the J-League version of WE8 at the end of October. In the past the gameplay has always been slightly different, not much though. Here's the details:

- 28th october
- J.League division 1 & 2 with licences
- Korean best clubs with licences
- Best asian and european clubs
- 103 team for a big Master league
- A new mode for tournament between players

I'd reckon this would be the Japanese version of PES4 (with the slowdown fixes and whatnot). I hope this gets released in Korea, because as far as I know the WE8 being released here is basically the Japanese version with Korean language.

KONAMI realized they ****ed this up with them slowdowns, etc. and are quickly tryin to fix the shlt up.

jumbo, you never pick up PES? Ain't it worth it just to give the eyeballs some relief with regards to language?

Specifically, how has the gameplay been different from WE in previous J-league offerings?

What if this sh*t has a slowdown as well?

I hope that this game returns to what the J-League series always was instead of a management game like J-League 7 Winning Tactics. WE6-JL was one of my favorite winning eleven game.
This game is not PES4 for the Japanese. The game engine will be slighly tweak from WE8 but the game main focus is on the J-League and K-League. And it is made for the Japanese and Korean market.

The choice is obvious.

You're right about the language though... for that reason alone I'll "borrow" the game online.

If they include some clubs from my country in the game (I'll doubt though) It will be something interesting for me. Atleast the teams that participated in the AFC Champions league.

You`re right mate.

F*ck KONAMI and Seabass. I`m getting sick and tired of both of them. Every year they release 20 different versions and people don`t know which one is better also we never hear a word from Konami except lame screenshots 3 days before it`s release. Konami are getting ridiculous. And look what they`ve done to WE8. Slowdown, stupid sharks and snakes around players head. What are we 6 yerolds. I`m gettin a strong feeling that Konami are starting to sink really badly. Why can`t they just release WE8 for their marker, PES4 for European and then WE8IJ (improved version from WE8) and then give WE8I to American folks.. I`m not paying a single cent for this and you people shouldn`t neither. Open up your eyes and see Konami is doing the same as FIFA. I hope that guy Dino Dini brings something to the table so I can kissgoodbye KONAMI for good.

hmm let's count:
2003 - PES3, WE7:I for PC; PES3, WE7:I US/Korean and WE7:I Jap for PS2
only two games for PC - one for European and one for USA and Korea
only three games for PS2 - one for Europe, one for USA and Korea and one for Japan


2004 - PS2: WE8 & WE8 J-league both for Japaneese market and PES4 for european
PC: PES4 for european and maybe WE8:I for US market

so I see only ONE game for each market
you saw 20 per year?

plus WE8 isn't for you, it was designed for japaneese ppl, maybe they like slowdowns and Zoo in Edit mode, it's only their problem
nobody force you to buy Japaneese game and play it; for european ppl ther will be PES4 with slowdown probs fixed

plus I saw loads of screenshots from at least 3 months before game (before PES4 wihch is for us and will be available in October/November)

Still, don’t understand what was the reason to produce PES3 and WE7:I for PC.
As my point, we7:I was kinda a patch and shouldn’t be a separate game.

You know something Jim and Mayor. I have the balls to admit something that Konami did, aparently you don`t .

Don`t tell me to go and post in FIFA forums. I never did and probably never will. I enjoyed playing Konami football titles and I`m having tons of fun with WE8 but Konami needs to respect our wishes and they never do. I don`t know Mayor, but you don`t even have a PS2 and you still claim to know everything. You know, you`re a mod of this forum so why don`t you act like one and be mature + honest about it. Konami screwed Europeans when they got PES3. It was full of bugs, and on top of that stutter bug. So please don`t say Konami will do this and that for PES4 when they won`t. Yeah, they might remove slowdown but there will be another bug that Konami knew about but didn`t wanna remove it until next release so they can make some money. Mayor you cannot tell me that people werent confused about WE/PES releases. Many forums including this one had billions of threads by people asking which version is which, which version is getting released, which version is better etc. that tells me that people are confused. FIFA sucks big time, but Danny Isaac managed to put it online and Konami does have enough money and do have the power to put WE/PES games online but they never do. All this online thing is based from reading magazines nothing else. It`s sad seing people on forums creating their PES Online leagues when in fact their dreams can be ruined. Another thing Mayor, I don`t know about you bro but here in the states we gotta work for the $$$ maybe your parents still give you money for WE/PES titles so you don`t even care if you have or lose them. Please don`t get offended by this I`m just saying what`s in my mind, you know everything I said so far is true so please stop denying it. We will see what happens in PES4. And we will see who is the right one.

Lol, easy diggi, nobody's forcing anybody to buy anything.

WE8J-L is a special release targeted at the Japanese folks, hence the inclusion of J-League.

The imporvements and additions that will appear in the release is another story... and the slowdown. KONAMI didn't have time to put/fix them in the original game so they're doing that now, now that they have the opporunity.

I for one, am very excited about the game.

It's like Final Evolution + the J-League which is a very good league.
