I haven't experienced anything like that so far and I played almost 150 games. So I guess they fixed it :)

Holy Crap dude I'm sure you hear this alot but you are the freekin' man! Do you hope to be employed (or maybe you already are?) in the gaming industry some day? Best of luck with that and I'm sure you'll have no problem landing a job.

Hey Jim, I have WE9 jap version and I also have WE9I. Both for ps2 and yes this is fixed in the american version. I hated WE9 so much because of that. Now I play WE9I because whether ppl want to admit it or not thier are sum bug fixes for the International version of the game.
