weird menu problems: Fifa 06 demo

for some reason when ive booted up the game, at first the menu selection menu just scrolls through the options as if a right or left button was stuck on my keyboard (obviously there not stuck), then if i hit enter and go to the team selection menu, the same happens there with whatever selection is active.

has anyone else encounted this?

I havent tried the game yet since if this is what im getting during the menu, since most of the time i cant navigate the language i want and the teams that i want.

I had a playstatiion to usb connection happening, and i thought that was the problem , thats now out and the problem still occurs, whats the deal?

alright, so i tried to start a game, so im at the team selection mode, the right side i can select a team fine, but then on the left its going crazy scrolling through the teams and leagues.. i tried to hit advance but it didnt let me do it..

fantastic demo.. really wanted to spend my afternoon 'trying' to get a demo to work.
