Weird Restart Problem With FIFA 14

Hi,

I don't know if this is an issue with Fifa or Origin, but is anyone else getting this problem:

Fifa 14 starts fine and I can play some matches. But if I quit the game and then try to start up again, the PC is forced to reboot the OS.

It's a complete headwreck.

Any of you guys seen this and what do I do to get rid of it?

Happens, could be anything from too many background programs running to mod conflicts. Play in windowed mode, or ctrl-alt-delete and log off; saves you from having to reboot.

There's no background programs running, other than Origin and I have no mods on the game yet.

BTW, it's not me doing the reboot. The reboot is happening automatically, when I restart the Fifa14.exe.

There are always 20-30 programs running in the background on your PC. I've had hangup and slowdown issues when I have had programs like Steam and Dropbox installed, that's why I closely monitor which programs to install on my PC. Anyway, I've never heard of any game rebooting own its own. Since it's an modded version, I suggest you delete both the game and Origin, and then reinstall both. Another thing to try is disconnect from the internet. I always shut my wireless off (hit F3 on my rig) before I launch Origin, the game seems to play better.

There's no major programs running and there's no wireless connection.

Anyway, I think I figured out what the issue is. It seems that you have to leave the Fifa 14 config window running. That seems to avoid the issue. Don't know why that would force a reboot of the PC though.
