Ok, I couple of days before release but a few of you have played it on ps2 /pc. Would like to know if it's more forgiving and easier to score than pes5 on 5*. Of course I wouldn't need to ask if Konami had released a demo.

I have pre-ordered the game on PC but will quickly sell if I feel I won't be able to master the game on 5*plus (yes a sad excuse). Spent a year playing pes5 and it's been good online (even with all the cheats and sads). Against the computer though it has been like having to stay behind at work on a friday night and a complete nightmare for me.

Fifa07 xbox 360 is playable and possibly easy to master, sad and cheap I know but life first and gaming second!

Appreciate any input from the footy gaming neutrals

No I never have to pay full price for a game. I guarantee you I will not lose money. I know the second hand value of games and never lose out.

I am just being honest and admitting that eventually I may choose fifa because pes is too hard.

And to be honest my post is no more stupid than your post discussing your political arguments on a gaming website. ;)

Be on the safe side and buy fifa then if you want to master the game in a couple of minutes. :ewan: :jap:

Come on people, the guy is simply asking a question! The truth is that a lot of us have played Fifa for many years before we found out about PES.

I am not neutral, I favour PES above any soccer game, well, above any game. I am also not a very good player. Mastering 5 stars, well, I am not gonna try it (because, as you said it: there's life too, you know).
The thing is: PES will never be easy, on any which level you play it. You always need your complete concentration and sometimes it can be frustrating even then.

PES6 is no different in that way. I have played it since yesterday and there are so many different gameplay things that I feel I have to learn the game all over again. I have played some frustrating games already, mainy due to the fact that I have not yet mastered the shooting system. But, frustrating as it may be, PES6 also seems to be very rewarding. You can do so many things with your players so that you can follow your intuition and creativity and see scenes on the pitch that you will never see in any other game.

I think it's about what you want from a game. Do you want to master it in a way that you can be fairly sure that you will win every game? Or, like me, do you -at heart- don't really care about winning or losing, because the game gives you so much in trying to win?

I like PES6 for the renewed gameplay. My only niggle is the graphics, which seems to be less spectacular than PES5's.

Hope this was any help to you.
