Yeah, it's quite shocking how poor the atmosphere is within the club at the moment, seems like everyone wants to leave nowadays.

Owen didn't suck, he proved time and time again that he was good enough. Unfortunately, he was constantly on the bench, no matter how well he'd play in the previous match.

Isn't this wonderful? We're losing arguably the most prolific striker in Europe for the past 4 seasons, Ronaldo and Rooney are at loggerheads, we lost our inspirational captain and haven't made any kind of move to fill the hole in our midfield....lmao this club is in tatters, it's not even funny.

Man U should be bought by another russian bill

then it will be a competition between abramovich and the other guy lol

Ruud van Nistelrooy agreed personal terms with Real Madrid on Saturday at 5pm.

No doubt, one of Manchester United's greatest strikers, deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Tommy Taylor, Dennis Viollet, Denis Law, and so on, but his best days were already long gone, and for the last two years we have played so much better attacking football when he hasn't been in the side, nobody can deny that.

I'm quite happy to see him go, the only thing that does bother me, is that van Nistelrooy could come out looking like another one of Fergie's victim, when infact, van Nistelrooy and his agent have been working on a move for two years, behind the club's back. Twelve months ago, AC Milan were only one phone call away from signing him (only needed to put in a good offer), but they decided to go for Gilardino instead.

If United wants to succeed, it needs a midfield that can chip in with goals, and not a thirty-goal a season striker, that does more bad than good to the team. Even when we were good, we didn't even need our strikers to go reach twenty goals, because the goals were spread out around the team. It's not as simple as that though, is the money there? are the right players available at the right price? probably not. We'll end up with panic buys like Carrick, who isn't even worth £7m, let alone £14m.

all real fans who seem not too happy about the news may end up changing their minds cause they'll realise what goalscoring ruud will provide them.

all the best to ruud whereevr he goes. he'll always be the most respected footballer in myeyes and my mentor.
although shokz has a point about the great attacking football we play without him, i still think whether rooney will be able to carry the burden throughout the season as there may not be an immediate class replacement for ruud.

lol they say they have his word and will negotiate with Man United soon.

Ah I see, according to some things I have read so far we have agreed personal terms with Ruud and now just have to agree on the price.
