wendetta patch gives me italian commentary

hi
i installed the wendetta patch and got italian commentary
So i did the trick with afs explorer i read somewhere.
I exported the folders [170demo.afs] and [160game_snd.afs] from the original data_e.afs
After that i renamed data_i.afs from wendetta patch into data_e.afs. Then i overwrite the wendetta data_e.afs with the one thats in the konami data folder.
Than i imported the 2 folders into the wendetta data_e.afs
But i still have italian commentary.!!???!! What do i do wrong mates?

if it imported correctly then you extracted the files from the Italian one, if it didn't then try it again, make sure you check for 'folder not found' msg

yes it says folder not found when i import it. Does that mean something is wrong?

yes, it means it can't find the folder to import from.

try to extract all the sub directories seperately

no, you point to the folder containing the [160-etc]
eg put it on C: then point to C: and NOT the folder itself

i clicked on the actual folder and it worked, could be becuz i extracted the directories individualy.

Hey man the samething happened to me , I don't mind though, the Italian commentary sounds better in my opnion anyways

will this just change the commentary or will it change everything inlcudind the music i like the music in the patch

it will change just the commentary with these 3 directories

110training_snd.afs (english in the training menu)

160game_snd.afs (english commentary during gameplay)

170demo.afs (english commentary during cutscenes)


if you don't know what you are doing, just stick with the italian commentary becuz you will need to know what you are doing to export/import those 3 folders and i cbf giving a deep explanation on how to do it.
