"DAILY MIRROR: Patrick Vieira has backed Arsene Wenger's verdict that Arsenal are the best team in England - and claimed Manchester United won the Premiership playing 'rubbish' football. 'I have seen Manchester United so many times on television this season and they were playing really poor football - really rubbish.'"

What can you say when you look at these two poor men. Everyday, are dreaming about the uncertainties, whether they can beat The Saints or empty handed with the egg on their faces.

If United playing "rubbish" football and managed to win the title.
That means Gooners' football is worse than "Rubbish".

I am surprised that Gooners' lacks of the sport spirit and pay no respect to anyone, this is really bad example in sporting arena.
Maybe this will be a classic laughing stuff in EPL presented by two French clowns.

Look at the threads for the Bolton, Chelsea, and Villa games.

The quote is meaningless. Every team plays rubbish football in particular games. If you just look at certain games then of course United didn't perform at their best, but in the same vein Arsenal were performing rubbish in certain games, such as their parade at Ewood Park, or them being outplayed by Spurs at White Hart Lane.

But for Vieira to once again claim that his team are the best in England when they have won 0 Championship, 0 Champions League this season is fairly ridiculous.

well, every team go through a bad patch, even arsenal played crap football at times, like when they lost 4 matches at a row, the ewood park match, the bolton match where they can't even seem to hold a two goals lead and lastly the leeds match where they lost the title, it is the consistency that's matter, and man u certainly have the players and the strength to get the whole team through when it really matters whereas arsenal don't.. wenger even said that if they have won the leeds match that they will be celebrating winning the championship but the truth is that even if they won the leeds match they will still be second to man u cause man u won all their last few matches..

1. Not my question, no comment.
2. Ferguson said that the injuries didn't help but he said that we shouldn't hide behind the injuries. I said the same thing.
3. Maybe you didn't see the 'should have been offside by Henry', or the 'should not have been penalty by Jeffers'.
4. Arsenal do have consistency, but over the season United were more consistent.

well, firstly i'm posting not because i'm a arsenal hater ...
2ndly, every team have injuries problem, and it's look to me that arsenal are becoming more and more a one man team, without vieria in the team they just don't performance to their maximum ability...
3rdly, well, do i have to tell you that henry offside goals against man u???the jeffers diving penalty?? the campbell red card offence for bringing down baros?? the elbow by bergkamp against lee bowyer which lead to a goal?? so many decision has gone your way and you still blame the ref...
4thly, consistency is when its matter that is coming to the end of the season which arsenal f*uck up when it matter the most and certainly those crap talk by wenger didn't help the team, which instead put more pressure on their own players...
now the referee problem has been poor thoughout the whole season, bad decision here and there.. some works for u some don't so don't blame the ref for that...

Talking abt poor ref. I can remember when Bergkamp elbowing Lee Bowyer then cross in for a vital goal, but Bergkamp only get punished few weeks later.
When the "village referee" Graham Poll tackled Tonge of Sheffield United, and ignoring an injury, let Gooners to score the winning goal, otherwise I doubt that Gooners' "worse than rubbish" football can defeat this great first division side and make it to the FA Cup final.
So please don't talk abt how unfair the ref are as they helped you alot.
For the conclusion, everyone who has the brain would know why these two frenchmen saying things like that, as they fear that season could be ended in a more miserable way.
