Don't be so pessimistic ...the Daily Express is reporting that you guys, AZ and Ajax are all vying for Davids' signature, so you never know.

And apparently some other newspaper is quoting him as saying he wants to go to the Premiership. As long as a fair proportion of his wages are paid, or he takes a huge pay cut if we sign him permanently (unlikely) I'll be reasonably happy with this transfer.

The only problem is whether or not he'll want to get stuck in for a club he probably knows bugger all about, and won't be at next year.

Roy Carroll signed today. Not a bad signing, IMO - with Jimmy out for 6 months and Bywater being straight pish, we really needed a good keeper, and Roy fits the bill.

He's a very good player, with lots of class and character, and will likely be in the NT in a couple years.

I'm a bit surprised to see him going to your club, as he was being targeted by Benfica, Sporting and Porto...

Pretty much on vacation.

Seriously, we finished 3rd this season, which is great considering our players' young age. Unfortunately, we already sold our 4 top prospects to better clubs. Got to build everything back up again, and that sucks.


And Castro is a really good player. I think he made the right move if the hammers are willing to give him playing time.
