Hmmm, good to see future England SUPERSTARS Joe Cole, Frank Lampard Jr, and Michael Carrick, score a ton of goals today...not.

Simmonius - I told you Rebrov just needs time to adjust, he's going to be even better next season!

I want a Liverpool vs Tottenham FA Cup Final.

Oh, well then. Sergi Rebrov for England.

Cole & Carrick are still in England's future. Just wait until Newcastle buy Geordie Carrick. Guaranteed top scorer.

Rebrov had a great game but I still think that he's inconsistent but that might change.

A great victory for Tottenham but facing the "scum" will be difficult. Hopefully we can show our cross town rivals that there's only one team in north London!!!

Liverpool has an easy path to the final with Wycombe although Leicester lost to Wycombe and Liverpool lost to Leicester. Nonetheless, Liverpool should make it and hopefully Spurs will, too.

Yes, but they're not nearly as good now as the media and that swindler Harry 'Let me raise their transfer fee' Redknapp make them out to be. I mean, if those three I mentioned were even half as good as everyone makes them out to be then West Ham wouldn't be 14th place.

As for Carrick, did you see Bobby's interview about how he was disapointed that Newcastle's scouting had allowed Carrick to 'slip through the net' - man he was pissed!

Lampard Jr was brilliant last year, but now he seems to be very inconsistent, Joe Cole has good distribution and control but he can't tackle, he can't head, and he can't shoot. Carrick I like, he tackles hard, but like Cole he needs to work on his distribution and shooting. I'm not saying they won't be good in a few years, but right now there are several players their age who are much better.

Steven Gerrard ate those three for lunch at Anfield a few weeks ago.

Rebrov and his mate Shevchenko for England.

I understand your point about them being over-hyped but keep in mind how young they are and that WHam is not exactly the best team to start off with anyways...

anyhow, I think Spurs were destined to beat the Hammers anyways, setting up the Derby semi-final.

Yes, but West Ham aren't exactly crap - they also have Hislop, Winterburn, DiCanio, Kanoute, Camara and Sinclair! With those established players, if Cole, Lampard and Carrick were half as good now as everyone says they are then they'd easily be a top five team.

Then you have Danny Murphy and Jamie Carragher who get no press, same for Ledley King and Alton Thelwell (Sol Campbell Jr), ditto for John Terry and Wayne Bridge, and poor Titus Bramble who's been one of the top EPL defenders this season (look where Ipswich are!) doesn't even make it into the U21s. At least Sven called up McCann (even if he is a SMB)
.

I just don't understand the hype, they're great prospects, but the players I've mentioned have been playing a lot better, though I'll cut Lampard some slack because he played well for England.

I'm surprised at how young the Spurs starting lineup is these days.

Doherty and King are established startes and Thelwell often starts. Davies and Etherington are usually on the bench. Luke Young, Carr and Iversen are all young and starters.

All great and quite consistent players!!!
