In response to an earlier thread praising the efforts of easports and fifa 2005 , well i must admit to being a pes3 fan first , and also i must admit to wanting the new fifa 2005 to be a better game than all previous fifa games which i think it probably is, well apart from worldcup 98, but after playing fifa 2005 for a season i have to agree with the remarks of DI SMITHIO about the scripted gameplay, deep down i knew inside that although the kits and player names were correct it would still be plagued with terrible gameplay, offcourse pes is the greatest soccer title ever to grace the pc or console's, to be honest i feel a little guilty for ever trying to believe fifa would be anything else than it is The pretender. pes really does rule the roost!

Go and play PES if u do not like fifa

Really surprised at your response mate. I play Fifa loads and if you do you have to admit the faults as always are frustrating. Just because its the best one for ages doesn mean we cannot admit the faults, and again the scripting is so annoying. If the new PC PES has online and is not worse than this I will go playing that too.

Well everyone's entitled to their opinion... but not everyone should start their own thread to express it, IMO.

There are a bunch of threads that debate the fifa vs. pes topic... go post in there.

BTW, Plus4s, ever heard of a period? That's one long sentence!

I played some WE 7I after having played FIFA for a couple of weeks.

I couldn't believe how horrid the animations are in WE 7I. I felt like i was playing with a bunch of robots. The game didn't flow very well at all compared to FIFA.

While playing WE 7I, i was also reminded of why i quit playing it in the first place. The one particular match i played the computer must have cheated at least 8 different times to prevent me from winning. Either making my computer guys kick the ball out of play (and usually forcing a corner) or just freezing my players so they couldn't track down the ball or the opposing player. It was so blatantly obvious that i just turned the game off right there.

To be fair, i've stopped playing FIFA too because of the scripted nature of the game. It's really depressing to want to play a good footy but realizing that there are not many options out there. :(

Its argueable wether the thread is Fifa V PES, and I can put up with anyones opinions if they have sound reasoning. You must have played the game tell me, is the guy wrong what he is saying about Fifa 2005? Now I dont agree that PES is rules, I find it as frustrating as Fifa. But when that new one is available on PC, I will be getting it to see if it gives me a closer experience to the game I have played and love than Fifa does.
