FIFA FX is a program which is actually simplistic in theory but it's a great utility. All it does is that it simply copies the files from the various team files and then paste them into the appropriate directories where FIFA 2002 can read them. Sometimes it can pack files into .big files as well. It also backups the original files and name them with extension .old, so that when you finish with a game, the original files do not cant erased. The only thing I find is slightly more complicated to understand is that it can read the teams that are playing next, as you save the game.
Right, that's how it works, and now some of the features:
* Before you play any game in FIFA 2002, you can save the game, and then FIFA FX will read the saved game, and would know which two teams are playing next.
* Since FIFA FX knows which teams are playing, it can then copy the appropriate files and pasted them into the correct places so that FIFA 2002 can read them just as normal files, and load them as usual.
* This therefore allows each team to have customised features such as stadiums, crowds, balls, advertisement boards, nets, chants....the list goes on and on.
Believe me, FIFA FX is the reason which brought FIFA back into my life, as before I used it, I just thought FIFA 2002 is so poor, but now, it's sort of more like on the OK level.
Also, FIFA FX gave me interest to the FIFA editing world....so is that a good thing or bad thing....you decide.
