What are your thoughts on FIFA 07?

what are the first reactions that everyone has had since the release of this game? i personally have no real issues with it and i think that the improvement in gameplay was much needed and was fixed sufficientley.

ball graphics are nice, SOME new faces, 2 new leagues, (no greek...ARG) it seems pretty well and good.

anyone with other views? negative? positive? i noe that so far my positives are over-riding the negatives.

I like it a lot, but I'm disappointed with the rest of the world option, which contains Swiss and Brazilian teams in, even though both the Swiss and Brazilian leagues are in the game. Either include them in those sections or just don't have them in the game, and put in teams from countries that don't feature.

it's Fifa06 in a new sauce, people claim the ball physics are more realistic, I sometimes think I'm playing with a lead ball instead of a leather one. The long passing also got worse, the player I pass to just stands there waiting for the ball instead of running towards it to make a quicker action.

From what I read here there's also problems importing double sized textures other than faces, I didn't try yet anything else than kits, am waiting a bit till more stable tools appear but if that is the case then it's a big step backwards, I'll have to verify this for myself though.

Fifa06 with proper patches blows Fifa07 out of the water atm, even graphically, but that was the case with Fifa2005 vs. 06 also, I guess I don't like changes.

I think it's a great game, a big step up from 06.

However, there are a lot of problems that come with it, too. The main one being the fact that there are a whole bunch of players missing and the transfers are not up to date.

The right analog stick isn't as good as they said it was going to be, and most of the time I find myself bashing at it to get out a good move, but by that time the defender has already got the ball and is about to cross it to his 10 foot tall striker who will score all the time.

Which brings us to the goalkeepers, how is it that the CPU GK will save literally anything you throw(kick) at him, yet your GK will let in some of the most stupid goals?

Has anyone else noticed that no matter how hard you shoot, the ball never goes more that 10ft high? I had to test this theory so, I'm blasting through the middle with Zenden, I am approaching the 18 yard box and hit a shot with FULL power, and it hits the crossbar ... balls made of lead is almost believable.

So yeah, other than that it's a pretty solid game.

its a big improvement gameplays ok and you can see by someof the players they have new gen in there but some of them look bloody awafull drogba looks really bad but i know he looks good on 360 version its not quite pro evo yet but its getting there i think 360 game will be really good both graphicly and game play if its like fifa 2007 on ps2 i also find it frustrating that defenders dont go up for corners how many of you have scored direct from a corner with a defender ?
