The only thing I like about "Frantic" is the music video, I like to watch it muted coz the song is utter crap, that ain't music, that's ramming a guitar in an uncontrolled manner

From The St.Anger album, The Unnamed Feeling seems to be the best and Some Kinda Monster follows

Altho' neither of them match up to the usual Metallica standards

99.9% of Hard Rock or Metal, not Rock. Rock is melodic.

You have to take into account that there are many different styles of metal. Yes, there is the extremely chunky riffing which you may not think is music, but there are also very melodic songs as well.. Metallica's Fade to Black is a very good example
