What formation(s) do you use?

Right now I'm using a 3-2-3-2. It's great for offence but on defence I still tend concede goals but I think when I get some more skill in the offence department w/ my ML team it will really come alive.
This formation is great for creating space in midfield.
I havent got into tactics too much but thinking about making different formations with the L2+ combos

I use more than one formation. It depends on the formation of my opponent. One formation is 4-4-2 with two AM's and two DM's and the other is some kind of 3-3-3-1 formation where the outside AM work like wingers. In fact, it is quite flexible, because when defending, the formation is more like a 3-6-1 with 3 defending midfielders and three AM's, which work great on the counter

I'm just getting into multiple formations and having great results! Using 3 different formations I beat arsenal in pre-season with my D2 team of scrappers lol!!

My fav formation has always been a slightly tweaked 4-4-2, with one CM given attacking instructions while the other is instructed to stay back to provide cover (Something like Chelsea, with Lampard and Makelele)
If I have a quality LM like Nedved or Recoba then I give them less defensive duties and instruct them to push more towards the center.
I don't give any marking instructions for my back 4, instead i instruct them to keep the back line shape and defend further up the field to try to catch the opposition offside.

And I like to defend in numbers (which explains why I got best defence in D1 ).. I give all my players high defensive duties except a striker and possibly the LM.
