I agree that the UI is quite outdated, but everything is still clear enough at least in terms of getting information. Need to find out how to install kits, here's how one should think:
1. I'm doing this for FIFA16, Enter FIFA16 Forum
2. I'm Editing FIFA (Description of Forum available). Enters sub-forum
3. I need info about Editing Kits, enters subforum for kits.
4. I need to ask a question about it, 1st thread in the forum is titled for Q n A's, use it.
The info is all there, people are lazy, I can't say they aren't.
Even if they don't have the information they need, there's a Forum rule to avoid spamming in multiple threads, you find that too, that's just being overly impatient and you can't work like that in a forum. You can't learn anything quickly, you spend time for everything. If you could, learn everything quickly, you wouldn't spend 10-12 years in school and 3-5 years doing higher studies.
This is a Forum, and forums are meant to teach you something, I can say this forum has taught me a lot, I've mentioned this several times in other discussions, I had no clue about how modding works, I knew nothing about Photoshop, I didn't even know what the software looked like. When a freind told me about the forum, I spent a bit of time whenever I was chilling to look through people's work, see what was possible, see how to do stuff, learn the norms of the forum, and I did so until I felt I was ready to become a member and start my own thread. And in the space of just 4 years have earned the right to be one of the moderators. That took time too. Everything takes time, and if you're impatient and don't want to wait, then you won't get anywhere.
Again, I'm not picking sides here, the thread's topic seemed to have switched from 'Forum Inactivity' to 'Blame the Moderators', so I just felt the need to put my opinion forward.
I know how much the moderators do here, and after becoming one myself, I've realised it's a lot more than can be seen. Managing such a huge community is hard, but we still take time out of our lives to do it.
We're not heartless in any way. We're just doing our job. Answering every incorrectly placed thread will only encourage more people to post incorrectly.
In my opinion as I previously stated, it is only because people do not have the new game and probably don't have any intention of purchasing it. From what I see, that is the major reason.
