When I buy an extreme videocard, I want to use as much features it can handle... PS2 can never compete with the PC graphic wise... Maybe Konami should make WE8 for the PC as well... Let's see what they can do

I don quite agree with u Nicholas.

That r just minor improvement. Konami currenly had the best gameplay fomula but year by year they improve very little.But who cares because no other football can beat their gameplay.

For EA, they r finding a better gameplay formula 2 beat Konami.As u can see every year Fifa had very different gameplay compare 2 the previous 1 but so far it not fun to play. Futhermore EA can't copy Konami gameplay because they r copywrite.

If EA will 2 find a better gameplay formula, i'm sure Konami will hav a total change on their gameplay too. Mostly this is cause by the preasure by the fans.

I'm sure 1 day, EA will found a better gameplay .

Suck ass ??? C`mon I know that their faces is not as real as FIFA`s but it definitely doesn`t suck, it`s decent. And beside, with a tower cam can you really see the players faces in high details in FIFA ? Konami only do things more efficient and effective, if you don`t pay attention too much in it while you were playin`, then what for ?

I'm not saying WE6fe graphics are very good. I just wanna prove Jowski that he's wrong on saying Konami don't improve on graphics.

Konami's graphics are not bad as well. Their problem is just using lower resolution textures. Their 3D models are in fact, more realistic than EA's.

The changes are minor, yes. But minor changes every year leads to a good, polished game. Big changes every year don't.

If Konami keeps working like this and FIFA gives you realistic football as well, then FIFA will ben nr1. because it has nice graphics and WAY better sound

WE6 != WE6:FE

Don't know what you're saying about them being the same.
And players movement/animation in WE/PES look much.. much.. more natural.

Well, i do agree if if fifa gets better and better, it will surpass WE someday if WE don't improve (but they do), we'll just have to wait and see.

Yes I've played it on a 82cm flat widescreen TV. So that shouldn't be the problem.

And about the animation?? The players don't even walk man, It's almost if they're skating on their boots! Besides....

You forgot to mention better teeth there by EA. Well, I played both FIFA and WE, and FIFA always improve drastically in graphics and side elements, but having a lack and even a step backward in gameplay improvement. WE on the other hand improve its gameplay constanly and slightly improve its graphics and side elements. Konami maybe not adding features like individual hair texture or teeth maybe because the fans don`t request for such useless improvement. All we want is playin` the game that feels like football and they give it, EA on the other hand ( I dont know wheter it`s for their ignorant, or maybe they really don`t have any idea what football is all about ) never fails to dissapoint me in terms of their gameplay.

But see, when is this supposed to happen? Three or four years down the road?, by then Konami with their little changes will be another 5 or four years ahead of EA........I agree with those who take the high route and say: "Like it? Buy it, Dont LIke it? Dont's buy it" But as a customer to shed a yearly allowance to EA since 1996 I feel that EA continues to betray football fans every year in favor of some shady marketing...........I honestly made up my mind I will rent FIFA 2004......I'm not buying it, no matter how much it has improved........maybe if 2005 is great then I'll come back, but I fear the trend will continue.

I know that EA had disapointed us a lot of time . But as all successful people will say " the past is not equal to the future". Yes you can use the past as referance but you can't forcast the future just by that.

Just like Thomas Eddison(1st person that invented the light bulb).
He had fail so many times but did he think that he is sure going to fail the next experiment.Of cause not, instand he try something new and see if it works (taking the past as referance to improved the light buld).

As for EA, Yes they fail to make a good soccer game, yes they disapointed us many years. And you think they don't want to improve on their product? Of cause not, if not why don't they just use back the fifa 2000 gameplay and improve on it.You know the 1 with the 360 degree turn.They change next fifa by adding power bar, foward run, new freekick system,etc. Of cause not all this things works well but at least they change.But of cause changes can make it worst or better.

Just like a switch,if this swich use to turn on the light, it will always turn on light everytime you use.So if you want to turn on the fan, you have to use other swich because the swich that turn on the light won't turn on the fan.

I see how this would apply from a personal standpoint. Personal betterment or whatnot, its a great thing you have said. But as far as EA goes, they are a faceless, giant monolith, bent on one thing alone; making money. Sometimes they recognize that in order to make the good money they must turn out a SUPERIOR product, such is the case with the Madden Series, or NBA live or NHL or a lot of their EA Games Division games, very good ones indeed....but FIFA is different.....why? I dont really know, all I know is that they do not seem to care As much as they would for their other titles. Yes, it is true this year they have listened a lot more, but then again they listened last yearand the year before.......its like the boy who cried wolf......how many times are we gonna believe them?

One good indicator of how much a company cares IMO is the realease of patches soon afterwards, that is a company that recognizes the game needs to improve to be pleasing and they fix it and send us a better product......Do you know how many patches EA has introduced for FIFA games since their inception in the PC?........None.......How many for say Medal of Honor or even the Madden series? At least two per release.....those two games are also made by EA... you see my point?

I honestly feel that until there is a game that has ALL the licenses, all the clubs and that rivals FIFA in all consoles around the world EA will not care as much.....their market is secure so are their sales.....In Corporate business it's all about the Benjamins.
