What is Wenger thinking??

AGE AND INJURIES DO MATTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A 21 year old body can heal and recover from injuries better than a 31 year old body. That's a medical fact.

and this is strange that before the selling of Vieria, no one suggest it here

but after the selling, everyone say that is a good move

any die hard fans here following Wenger?

Yes it depends on the person, but that is the general rule. I think we can say Robben and Vieira are supremely conditioned and on equal ground. And then throw in that knee injuries have devastated the careers of numerous greats in every sport in the world; knee injuries are the hardest of any to recover from an athlete, no matter who they are.

Barry Bonds is about to lose his career because he can't recover from a knee injury at his age. Similarly the careers of Larry Bird, Bill Walton, and Ralph Sampson ended because of knee injuries.

You miss Van Basten
And Ronaldo's knee almost cost his career too

Starting XI
I'd certainly be very surprised if he became anything more than 50% of the player he once was, yeah.

Though I still expect him to have some dramatically improved form compared to last season. New enviornment, new teammates. Would give anyone a lift (Y)

Not only that, but the slower pace of Serie A will be of benefit to him. It looked like he couldn't keep up with the pace in England.

Not to come off as someone who's only mirroring the deed after the fact, but I've been calling for Vieira's transfer ever since I registered here and long before that in other forums.

Goo fo me, goo fo me I guess....... :)

If Wenger can find a reliable and capable new CB then Campbell will go. A name that comes to mind is Sebastian Squillaci from Monaco, if not Cristian Chivu although I'm not sure how willing Roma would be to sell.
senderos and toure?
