Don't look forward to the gameplay too much...like I said it's being produced by Konami's Osaka line, who are years behind the success of the Tokyo-made Pro Evolution and ISS Pro series when it comes to gameplay...

I can't say that I won't be looking forward to ISS3, but right now, I'm quite impressed with FIFA2003. I am aware of the annoying problems and idiotic limitations, but the atmosphere in the game is really suberb, and with adequate gameplay FIFA2003 is quite enjoyable. I can score from outside the box and crossing&headers are not rare, and since editing access forms and Shlomy's superb flags came about, I'm hyped up about playing. FIFA is fun, when I play PES or ISS, I really concentrate on the playing, which is rewarding, but in the long run, not that fun.
When the game works well enough not to annoy, and gives some really superb moments (tricks and any nice goals and such) with one end of the crowd singing "two-nil, two-nil, two-nil" and the other "are you man united, man united, man united in disguise?" I could care less about worrying about the fact that the players don't have enough self-esteem to head on their own.

Well said indeed...at the risk of incurring the wrath of the whole of the FIFA 2003 community...I agree wholeheartedly that the total football experience brings me back to FIFA every time. In a perfect world...a game would have ISS gameplay and FIFA grafix and atmosphere...it will be interesting to see if that will ever happen. Whoever does it first could corner the market!

Let the debate continue...cheers friends!
