don't get me wrong madridistas, but...you have to admit...good or bad, arsenal looks better than real today. I mean, for a much longer time, they have a more compact team, with some players being traded or going to other teams, that's true...but anyway, it still looks better than the galacticos, which don't properly have a team for almost three years (or since del bosque left).
in my opinion, it looks more like arsenal's. of course, football isn't logic and that's why it's great. but for me, real needs a miracle or a divine act to reach the qualification.
and that miracle is called ronaldo...and the divine act is called robinho.
ronaldo is such a riddle for me. he still is in my vision, the best forward of the world. wha he can pull off when he's inspired, no one can. and here's the problem - inspiration. it seems to be a fog over his head lately, and more than ever (what's a reason of big concern for us brazilians) ronaldo seems so...blank, empty, lacky of motivation than EVER. he has been like that for years now.
ok, he had a decent season start. btw, what a start! great plays as in the golden days, goals every match, until the damn injury agains atletico de madrid. maybe i'm being unfair...but if u pick up his last seasons and search for his best moments, u won't find much...and not so many 'best' as the former ronaldo's best ones.
however, he can feel the push of a match like this and do the whole difference. a decisive match like this could be the ignition for his great objective (and he told to reporters) which is doing great in cup and fighting for the top striker position.
and almost the same for robinho. i mean, the match against the gunners could be in his vision the real 'big break' since he got to bernabeo. his game is improving every match - i'm not saying because of his beautiful goal in the last match, but 'cause is true. as a corinthians fan, I sadly learned to never defy robinho before important matches or even doubt of his capacity to change the look of a match like that. it could be in his case, as well, the big explosion straight to the top.
but in both cases, it all goes from the ball to the head. i wonder what those boys are REALLY thinking lately.
p.s.: spicy comment - if madrid beats arsenal...hold on your chairs barcelona fans...there will be revenge. it will be like...huh, hmm...a 'new beginning'. i guess...
