What should certain player's ratings be?

2nd.............we hate beckham because he's a gay fag. I cant speak for everyone, but i hated the **** out of the homo since way back before i can remember (and bless that guy who broke into his house)

The whole portuguese league is very underrated in the game.

PLayers like Ricardo Carvalho,Paulo Ferreira,Simao,Tiago etc. were all in the 50 and 60's. When they deserved to be at least higher than 75.

Donavon doesnt suck.......the guy is young very solid and is one of the best players for the national team. As far as leverkusen goes, he would rather stay in the US and play then go over there, its not like they think he wouldnt help.

I think that what EA should do is put in a POTENTIAL rating for the young players like they have in NHL 2004.....where the player's rating improves over the years of the career (if you play him and he plays well) until he reaches his potential.....
(This thread is still about player ratings right? Or is it now about how much David Beckham sucks? Because he does....but then again...look what team he plays for...he can't help but suck)

a potential meter should be used. Maybe it shouldn't be seen and you can only guess his potential by the way he plays and his age and stuff.

I think you should be able to know his potential....but then you don't know if he will reach it or not....I think it must depend on his appearances, performances, individual training, injuries, etc.
I think that would be realistic...for example many managers sign players with big potential who never live up to it......and other players with less potential become better.
It works in career mode in NHL 2004 with a 20 year career...sometimes players with low potential become your best player and players with high potential never become good, just like in life.....but you know the potential, you just don't know if they will use it......
