I have never expected this kind of problem from long lasting company like Konami. And because i did love all PES series i bought it without reading review or on the forum.... well blame the project manager and company policy who doesn't want to move on to new engine. Current old engine and interface are not really easy to adjust.. i guess. Scout some crew from EA and you will have balanced game. And .. it is first time for me that I see network connection problem of a game hahaha sounds like i forgot how to brush my teeth.. those things are really basic requirement for game company

Another 24 hours has passed.

Wahay!!!! Made it through to the server selection page.

Click on English PC.

Right, just wait it for it to load. 7 Min's later the screen appears!!!

Try to challenge someone to a game and the server just won't connect me.

If i try to chat it takes 5 minutes for it appear on screen.

This is absolutely appalling service KONAMI

Surely this must be a breach of Trade Description or something. Because its not doing what it says on the box.

Its 10pm , monday night and i still can't get a game online.

The Uk server just won't load. The screen tells me that 800 people are on that server.

Is it just me?

I logged in about 10:00pm tonight, played one game and was winning 1-0 after half time, 10 seconds into the second half, the game disconnects......

1030pm Tuesday night and still can't get online.

Got as far as the "Select Server" stage before giving up.

I noticed the French Pc server which has room for a 1000 players had 1100 players logged on to it. Very strange.

Hi, it's me again,


I'm now onto day 6 of trying to get a game online but still can't do it.

The only server i can connect to is English/French server where you can only play friendlies but even there it just can't connect to anyone for game.


Also from what I've seen of it so far i think the server menus are very confusing. You go into a match room click on a player to play him and your then taken to another room with up to 4 people in it. Why? I DONT WANT TO PLAY 4 PEOPLE Still yet to work out how you find their pings/connection speed.


Good old PES5 ... Goto MatchRoom .... Select player to challenge .....PLAY.

Konami have really messed up on this one.

WTF Well i thought Konami would have solved connection problem by now... but nothing changed accept you login faster and select player is faster compared to monday but it keeps disconnecting during 2nd half lol what a joke.

Thought I'd try and get my first game online tonight, I've only had the game for 9 days.

Success!!!! Access to the servers was very fast.

I had 3 games and each time i was disconnected half way though the 2nd half.

So the servers are still not fixed after all

I'm glad i've still kept PES5 to play online with. At least it works and the menus are not as confusing. Match Room-Challenge Player-Play. Easy.
