Where do you work?

I work at KFC as of 1 week ago. They make me work at the till because I'm supposed to be well-spoken but I know it's really because I said I didn't mind where I worked

So where does everyone else work, and what do you do there?

i earn $30ish every saturday during the football season for refereeing

apart from that i bum off my parents.... though im thinking that maybe i should get a job if i want a decent car any time soon

I worked at a supermarket until a couple a weeks ago , but I quit because I needed time off for exams and they were still paying me minimum wage after 18 months of working there. I havent bothered getting a new job yet.

See, I call it a Cash Register, or Register, and I think people are weird who say "till." Sorry, BIG argument when I was a driver for Dominos about if it's a till or register. I deliver pizza in summers and winters, I think it's the ****in greatest job in the world; still waiting for the sex for pizza offer from a hot chick though

Bah, the nasty thing about college is that you're supposed to work full time after it is over. So, I started working as a product/process eng. in a plant in March 2003. We do welded seat frames for Nissan, Renault, Iveco, etc.

Since then I'm pretty sure I got:
- more dumb, less caring about things in general, lost any available time to do stuff like going out with friends (actually, I'm so tired I lost any will to go out), began to dislike the human character in general, and I see myself as a cynic now.
On the other hand, my patience has increased a bit

I also got myself into buying stuff like a car (which I'm still paying) and a cell phone - all in order to go to work.

Currently I'm looking for a different life, with other purposes rather than 'work, marry, have kids, work, buy house, buy suv, die'. Serious ideas?

worked in retail store called 'the warehouse', new zealand company.

worked there for 3 years, am on $15 an hour as casual and usually get 30 hours a week ... piss easy job as my best mate is my night fill manager

**** if I know. I can see my self dropping out one semester before I graduate law school and never finding anything I enjoy. Probably going to law school though after undergrad.

Be a life long student. Never pay off student loans, learn stuff. You just need REALLY nice/rich parents/girlfriend/wife/husband.

i work at waitrose, like half my college work there aswell, im getting £4.35 an hour which is piss poor, but there are good benefits and they treat u pretty well. I stack drinks wich is bloody hard work specially at christmas time, my manager loves me and always asks me to do overtime, i bin workin there for 1 month and im rich haahahahah rich

Seriously, I'm waiting until I'm done with Uni to get a job. IMO, I feel that I'm above menial, minimum wage, no benefit work such as McDonalds, Target, and Stop & Shop.

I work through a temp agency... they used to find a lot of work for me in the summer but now they can't give me anything. So now I have to bum off my parents.
