Where is the "Freestyle Control"?

I'm using the Logitech Wingman Rumblepad for the full version of this game.
I'm assuming that the default "Z" button is the "Freestyle" command button since there's no way to assign a different button to this command in the options menu.
But whenever I try this Freestyle move in a game while using the directional pad, the player just stops and stands there like a doofus. Although I've only played about a dozen or so games at this point, none of the players I control are doing anything special when I press "Z". I know that different players have different signature moves and I assume that the lower-tier playert don't have any special moves. But one of my teams is Intermilan, so wouldn't Christain Vieri have a special move??
My Logi controller is recognized in the game. Does it matter how close a defender is and which direction I'm going in order for the player to make a special move?

And install the latest drivers from www.wingmanteam.com. I have gotten Freestyle working without setting up a thing within FIFA and it's beatiful!! Shimmy's and dribbles aren't effectivealot of times if u have a good defender but when they do and u score, oh, it's a beautiful thing...

I already have the 4.20 drivers installed.

But yes it is the Right Analog stick for special moves. I just wish EA would have put this command in the menu.:(

I have a thrustmaster Firestorm 2 dual thingy, and I think the right trigger button under the pad is the freestyle controll, but seems a bit pants with the button, anyone know how I can get the game to use my right analog stick? cheers

Freestyle For Keyboards

I've played every FIFA game in the series with my keyboard. Do I need to throw it away and buy a gamepad to enjoy the freestyle control? Or can I make all the special moves using the spacebar (or shift) and the arrow keys? I've already done some of them (but not too many) with my keyboard. The rest are gamepad-only?

NO FREESTYLE AT ALL

Hello again my dear friends,

I am totally ****ed up and exhausted of trying....

Now finally I have tried everything

-Fifa 2003 uninstalled and again a new installed
- files in the user catalogue deleted
- and at the end even tried with the keyboard

I run with the ball and nothing happens, even with pressed Z key with the MS Sidewinder - nothing, with the second analog stick of the Logitech Cordless Wingman Rumble Pad - nothing, and last but not least - with the keyboard pressing shift or return key and arrow keys nothing.

For me there are obviously no tricks. I have tried it with the MS Sidewinder, the Logitech Wingman Cordless Rumble and tried even with the keyboard (in german it says Umschalt key and arrow (this is fine either Shift or Return))

I could do with none of these combinations a trick, neither in the Arcade nor in the Simulation mode.

Is my game broken? Please, please, help me, I have this problem already since weeks, now I have already bought the fourth Gamepad to fix this issue but nothing happens....help help help
