Which Grafix Card to Buy?

i had the same problem back in the old pes3 days in the end i bit the bullet and upgraded.its got to improve your system slightly but dont expect miracles mate.

dont waste your money!!
pci slots can only run at about x4 where the standard agp is x8.basically the pci version of any card will only run about half the speed as its agp comparison.

Errr......why are people that don't know what they are talking about giving PC advice?

A 32-bit PCI slot has a peak transfer rate of 133 MB/s
A 1xAGP port has a peak transfer rate of 266 MB/s
A 2xAGP port has a peak transfer rate of 533 MB/s
A 4xAGP port has a peak transfer rate of 1066 MB/s or 1 GB/s
A 8xAGP port has a peak transfer rate of 2133 MB/s or 2 GB/s

That said a PCI slot is nowhere near half the performance of an 8xAGP slot.

Anyway Hassan just google those graphics card and get some benchmark results for them. For to be honest, not much different really from the expensive one you showed me above or the cheapest one. At the end of the day it's an old card which is like an entry card. So just treat this card as a temporary one to enjoy your pes5 and hopefully you'll get a new pc at the end of the year.

alright guys so if i buy that ATI Radeon 9250 for £30 that should be able to tun PES5 smoothly then?
O AND BTW will changing the motherboard help get an AGP GRAFIX CARD... If YES then which motherboard would be cheapest for the job and are they easy to install

WAIT WAIT WAIT...before you foolishy make any MOTHERBOARD or graphix card purchases, u shud think of retaking that PICTURE or use a program to see wt motherboard u have. judgin by the pics, it seems that u hav cut the bottom bit off. people look at this and assume that u dont hav an AGP slot which i think is just bullocks, pretty much every mobo comes standard with an AGP or PCI-X slot. retake the pic but not so close!!!

the AGP port or PCI-E (as PCI-X is not pci express and is something different) are 99% always the first or second slot on any current MOBO

FYI, any person with good computer knowledge can see he has a microATX form factor motherboard and you would be very wrong in saying pretty much every microATX mobo comes with AGP or PCI-E slots. MicroATX boards normally come standard with integrated graphics like his and most of them do not have an AGP slot or PCI-E slot.

The money you will spend on a decent graphics card and maybe taking your ram to 1 gig , you might be better of buying the xbox and pro 5.

XBox is poo for PES. The buttons are set up in a completely rubbish way for playing the game the way it's meant to be played. What were Microsoft thinking with those black and white buttons? That everyone has two thumbs on each hand?!

Yeah, Ups to that. Last Year over here all the WE competitions were on Xbox. Which is utterly Bollocks. The xbox Controller sucks bigtime. I even bought a controller convertor but it is screwed up. I couldn't change the shoulder buttons. It was inverted. The other buttons could be changed. Ended up still using the xbox controller. Really pissed off that I couldn't use the R2 and L2.

But Microsoft have decided to use the tried and proven method of the PS Controller with 4 shoulder buttons for the Xbox360 controller. But the top 2 shoulder buttons is different then the bottom two. I'm sure whoever owns an Xbox360 or have tried it knows what I'm on about.

well guys i have already got a xbox and pes5 the only reason i want it on PC is that i can enjoy it with good Patches... so looks like ATI RADEON 9250 PCI for me then...

UPDATE I GOT my Card today and i have to say its very impressive.. i can play PES5 on 1024x768 on High at a high speed...
