Which is better? FIFA 06 (PC PS2 XBOX)

this is always a question that pops up. I think its better on a console, it run more smoothly and its a lot better for multiplayers. You can argue that you cant put patches on i will just buy PES when i get fed up with fifa

i agree with billy. you can edit whatever you want,your already hooked up to the internet,saving and loading are faster (in my opinion)

Well every year i get the Xbox version to play and then i get the PC version to patch but as far as graphic and gameplay go i would say Xbox but the PC is also great since you can patch it but the grapics arn't as great

for me, the whole point of FIFA is that you dont need patches. If i was going to patch i would get PES instead. I got FIFA 04 on pc and xbox and ended up with xbox. but its up to you

have just got ps2 game fifa 06 ,not demo . its is a lot better looking on pc but ps2 version plays ok only started on semi pro with palace because it still will not let you start with a team like liverpool my team, miles better then 2005 version , but still can improve , i play both pro evo and fifa and pro is just plain boring , fifa getting there :ewan:

I wanted to answer to the peeps about the siemens or whatever on your shirt when your game is crap routine.

First I was mad, and I wanted to tell them to crawl back under the rock they came from but I will refrain from doing that, ah well...

Then I wanted to try explain why the PC > your console and other playmobils, but then I realised there are so much people on this planet that think they are right no matter what you type or explain, that even a full scale black plague epidemic couldn't get rid of them all, so I'll show images instead (works with my kids when they don't understand anything or pretend to anyway)

Image 1 : And thou shall have correct rosters!



Pretty self explanatory, but as you see Gila aiming for the goal you wonder how in hell you would add him to your AC Milan team when you have that pretty Playstation box in your hand because the developpers stopped updating their rosters 7 months ago...

Image 2, 3 and 4 : And thou shall see the light!



The stadium has real genuine fan flags, a real chanting crowd (with the help of my almighty sound packs even more so), real adboards, customized turfs, Everything is modified to make it as real as possible. Try that with a console.



And before you say, Yo man the 360 l33t 3D stuff will pwn Yo, the 360 is nothing else than a PC in a black plastic box, it has a processor, a graphics card, hard disk, a motherboard ect... only one slight problem it's not upgradeable...





Images 5, 6 and 7 : And thine gladiators shall have faces and uniforms!



Real faces (imported ones because the originals are mostly crap anyway), the latest kits detailed to the max, with the latest sponsors, shoes, number fonts, everything till the last detail...

Alas, poor child, that can be edited also, for example on corners even my defenders come in the box to try to put in that decisive header due to my modified set pieces and tactics files, and the AI is tons better (better not faster as it is in the original game), due to my edited AI file...




Hmm, and the teams I can add that are not present in the original release, like the Italian Serie C, the Russian League, the Turkish, the Greek, the....

And you know the best part of it all?
The above screens and descriptions are not even taken from Fifa06 but from it's predecessor :) , about double the size on the hard disk with all the applied modifications though...

I can only start to imagine what the 06 will feel and look like in a few months when all the talented people corrected the rough edges...

Yeah, well unless you just don't wanna feed of what others create, you have to do all that yourself! And no Fifa game have been worth putting that time into! And try sitting 4 people infront of the same effin computer playing the game!

what if you dont know how to patch? I guess Im dumb. what if patching is anoying as hell? what if you dont want to spend a grand to play fifa in good conditions? What if you and your friend at a dorm want to play against each other? What if any friend comes over you house and wants to play you? What if you have a group of people in a room and you want to make a tourney? What if you want to play FIFA and talk on msn at the same time?

Call me poor and dumb, but at least I have friends.
